re: Lexington this weekend

I lived in Lexington a few years and just recently left.

If you are trying to hit distilleries definitely look into Woodford, Wild Turkey, and Buffalo Trace. All of those are within 45 minute drive of Lexington. Double check what the COVID restrictions are first though.

If you are looking for good restaurants Tony’s of Lexington is my favorite. If you want even higher dollar than that check out Jeff Ruby experience.

Last I heard Keeneland was only allowing in a small percentage of people in so I am guessing you already secured your tickets for that.
Just watched Facebook live video from the uncle.

The kid who rear ended the nieces vehiclr called him. Said when he hit her car and got out there was no one in it.

Very strange circumstances here.

In the latest example of left wing lunacy.

Scholastic pulls children's book from 'Captain Underpants' author over 'harmful racial stereotypes and passively racist imagery'

quote:

"Together, we recognize that this book perpetuates passive racism," the publishing house said in a statement on their website. "We are deeply sorry for this serious mistake. Scholastic has removed the book from our websites, stopped fulfillment of any orders (domestically or abroad), contacted our retail partners to explain why this book is no longer available and sought a return of all inventory."

quote:

Pilkey initially said the book, which tells the story of a group of friends who use martial arts and Chinese philosophy to save the world, was created to “showcase diversity, equality and non-violent conflict resolution.” However, he now sees the harm

quote:

"I hope that you, my readers, will forgive me, and learn from my mistake that even unintentional and passive stereotypes and racism is harmful to everyone," wrote Pilkey. "I apologize, and I pledge to do better." The decision to remove Pilkey's book comes shortly after the announcement that Dr. Seuss Enterprises will stop the publication and licensing of six Dr. Seuss titles which "portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong."

I have about a 25 year old AC unit. Thankfully I no longer live in Louisiana and AC’s don’t get the year round wear and tear as they do down there

However, it’s starting to warm up here. I turned the AC on for first time today and there is an extremely loud whistling sound coming from the AC unit.

I know absolutely zero about this stuff. We purchased this house a year ago and we were well aware we would probably be needing to replace the AC within a couple years.

Anyone know what the whistling could mean? Is this a possible easy fix or am I looking at shelling out thousands for a new unit?
You got to give it to him. That took some balls lol
It hurts me to read this stuff. Infuriating isn’t even the word.

It is now open season against white folks.
