I've not seen any legislation proposed that's authoritarian. I've seen some zealots online say some silly things, but not seen any real laws that could be described that way.

I think Climate Change is a good starting point for this discussion. The Democrats are at least taking it seriously and offer a movement in a good direction, ecologically speaking.

Yes, I think they are better culturally. I think abortion, while more complicated than some on the left want to admit, is better left legal. I think gay marriage is a right. Generally, they are for a more inclusive society and I think that's better than the alternative.

Sorry you don't like the answer to the question, but there it is. I believe America is just better off with a Democratic-led government. They have their faults, certainly, but of the two parties they're the only ones who take the real problems America faces seriously and the only ones who offer genuine solutions to those problems.

Specifically, Biden's health care bill is poised to be of immediate assistance to many. I think the Climate Change bill will also be good in the long run. The recent decision to pardon federal marijuana offenders is a step in the right direction, as well.

Culturally, I think the Democrats are better for the country.

I liked the move to expand NATO to include Finland and Sweden. In terms of foreign policy, Biden and Democrats have been a pleasant surprise.

I'm doing it b/c I believe the Democratic platform does the most good for the most people. I don't think they're perfect nor will they usher in some utopia but they will be better for more people than the policies of the Republicans will.

Are you against the kisses Snow White and Sleeping Beauty receive, which acknowledge straight relationships? What about Belle from Beauty and the Beast when they get married?
