I have an aging mother with macular degeneration. We’ve tried prescription glasses, over the counter glasses, and magnifying glass. Nothing is working. She can’t do any reading anymore. Can’t read directions on a box. I’m at my wits end trying to help her. Yes, she’s been getting the shots in her eyes.

The whole issue was about her not shaking his hand again when the game started. But he did the same thing by not going through and shaking the hands of the winners. Just walked off by himself to the locker room. He didn’t have any answers to South Carolina and came off as a sore loser. The whole after 3rd quarter interview and Sara Strong ripping her Jersey was really a bad look on the team. The older you get the less patience you have and Geno showed that last night. Wouldn’t be surprised if he announces his retirement.

You could read he lips saying I did shake your hand. He was confronting her about not shaking his hand before the game. They replayed that on tape and she clearly shook his hand like she always does to head coach and all the coaches. It showed her in the huddle with her team and he was standing alone like he was waiting on her to shake hands right before the tip-off. I was shocked at the things he said in that after 3rd quarter interview. Said the referees were calling the game 1 way and Dawn calling the referees all kind of names. But that was not what the confrontation was about. She clearly told Holly Rowe after the game that she did shake his hand.

Was told he would be hired on permanently by Meta after it’s built. I asked him if hired by Meta after built will the pay be comparable to $55 or drop down to $20 or something. I realize that they’re probably promising something that won’t materialize just to get him to do the construction phase. Like I said, he knows nothing about union. He’s 42 and been working for HVAC companies or for himself. But the money sure is enticing for him and his family.

Apparently so. Told son he will be working with this union until it’s built then be hired on with Meta. He knows nothing about working for a union. I told him to talk to someone already working for the union there and get the pros and cons. It will be 10 hours a day 6 days at week. Pay is $55 minus the benefits.

Anyone in this union working at the Meta plant in Rayville? Son has been approached while on his present HVAC job about going to work for this union at the plant.

Waste of time to teach them about checking accounts. They just look at their balances online. When they take out loans they just want to know what the monthly note will be and don’t care about the interest and length of note. This is a “want now” generation.
