re: Sea dek for bay boat

I did my 18’ mud boat in hydro turf myself in 21. It has held up great sorted in the sun a lot with almost no stains. Bought the “blem” light grey material think it was $500 and had almost a whole sheet left over. The 3m backed material hasn’t had any edges peeling and I don’t not baby this boat.
Saw more mallards, pintails and gadwalls yesterday than the entire season combined in NLA and they were all flying low. Not a single one would drop into decoys though, it was very odd. I was a few miles below the freezing rain and ice line and they were all traveling west to east.
Got my email submitted including my local representatives letting them know no incumbent would receive my vote, if corrupt politics allows sportsman’s paradise to continue being destroyed. Wanted to bring this back to the top since the comment period ends this Friday I believe.
The Spanish ads are what’s really pissing me off, ads for a free service hasn’t bothered me much. Ads in Spanish in America, is some BS.
Stepsides were and are dumb, a truck needs bed space and the stepsides take away from that bedspace.

Have had the axil gs 2.0 for two years and love them. Use mowing the yard, hunting and in the gym. I forgot to put one in on a deer hunt out of box stand this year and was crazy the difference, that one ear rang all day. I have no idea how I hunted for so long without hearing protection.
The term pulpwood hauler exists for a reason. Size and strength goes to NLA.

7 and hunted every weekend plus a few weekdays. Worse season so far for me. Opening morning showed a lot of promise and went downhill fast.
re: Mud-buddy, gator-tail, go-devil or other

Pro drive for thick vegetation and cypress lakes. Gator tail for straight mud and carrying more weight. Go devil does everything the gator tail does and I think is more reliable. If it’s a Briggs they are junk just know that going into it.
I have the axils and like them. I use for shooting, hunting, mowing grass and exercising. Had caldwells and they sucked.
Adjustable gas block was a necessity on the gen2 I have. PSA has really a drop in trigger for $60 that is good for the price.
If the dogs are always in the area the deer get used to them. I’ve had dogs show up in a lane and the deer step in the brush until the dogs venture on and step right back out. They tend to bother deer hunters more than the deer. There are exceptions to this but I hunt a couple stands with loose house dogs around and this has been the most frequent observation.

This logic is refreshing. Nissan made very reliable vehicles (not including the cvt transmissions) and got a reputation because of the Altima crowd. Same thing but inverse with the GM fanboys that thinks we are still in the 1990s raise hell praise dale era.

It is a good engine. What is the 3.6 cam, lifter and rocker failure rate during warranty period the last 10 years vs a GM 5.3?
Tommy Vidrine.

Currently have 2 jeeps with 3.6. 1. 2014 240,000 miles on it developed tick at 238,000 still going all original driveline. 2. 2022 gladiator 136,000 miles pulls a 21 ft bay boat 3 hrs regularly and is used as a woods trucks, all original driveline. Had a 2016 2dr rubicon, sunk in a creek at 38,000 miles sold it running all original driveline at 110,000 miles to buy a house. Millions of 3.6 floating around if only 1% has issues it appears much worse than it is.
Big bodies. If they have big bodies around here they usually have a big rack to go with it or a compact heavy heavy mass palmatted rack. We are lucky my neighbors are very picky and almost never kill anything. I just got to continue working on my dad not shooting 2.5 yr old studs “before the outlaws get him.” “If the neighbors aren’t shooting them, I’m not shooting them, that leaves you…you are the outlaw.” The lightbulb finally started glowing.

They are way more reliable than most give credit for. Owned by many females that don’t know what maintenance is or bubba that beats them against rocks.

1. F150
2. Jeep gladiator
3. The rest have lots of issues including the new tundras.
Bottom of the barrel GM products.

Won a marsh hunt a few years ago when we had the bad drought and they canceled the hunts due to deteriorated habitat from saltwater intrusion. Went in the rice with a buddy the year before only killed 2.
