LSU player betting scandal and coming sanctions could lead to the 2019 title being vacated.

Pretty bad troll attempt. He wasn't on the 2019 team.

Actually LSU fans are about as happy as they have been in 17 years.

They are just getting under your skin.

Despite being tortured by him for the last decade and a half, he restored LSU football and got us rolling again.

I was a student in 2003 and I will never forget how magical that season felt. Even during the darkest hours of losing to him, I never stopeped appreciating that.

Thanks Coach Saban, and happy retirement.
Neither of you are on Bama's level. Congrats on your regular season win.

We've done alright. Unless you are a Bama fan, we have won more nattys than your school since then.
That billboard was a massive waste of money for whoever donated.
Saban will stop just short of Bowden and Paterno. He will keep coaching until he is really old, but he will call it at the first sign of a slip.

You won't see Saban coaching a 3-9 Bama team the way Paterno did at Pen State. You also won't see him coaching a bunch of 7-6 teams in a row either like Bowden.
I really hate what is happening to college football.

But, money talks. I wonder who is paying him.

OU getting in over Auburn was a not a travesty. It's easy to do revisionist history 20 years later.

Oklahoma had won the natty in 2000 and then had pretty dominant teams again in 2001 and 2002. Their 2003 team was being talked about as a GOAT team all year. They were a machine back then.

I was a student at LSU back in 2003 and I remember being super nervous going into that game.
I was at the Saints game yesterday and watched the Lions fans find out in real time that they were #1. Their jubilation was short lived when they saw who #4 was.

It was funny.
I still wouldn't call this murderball. Your 2015-2018 teams were still much better than this one.

This 2019-now run has been a product of Saban's coaching more so than having more talent than everyone else.
Agreed, but we all know that won't happen. LSU, and by proxy, Saints fans also are not happy unless they have something to complain about.
Why do so many LSU fans care about Bama winning another title? They already have 6, what the hell is one more going to change?

And guys, we have won 3 of these ourselves. So you should all know that it is hardly life altering at all. I mean hell we just won it in 2 other sports this year!

Ya'll need to relax guys. The sun will rise tomorrow.

I've heard Oklahoma has some weird law where they can only sell beer with lower alcohol %, Is that true?

If that's the case, I'm not sure the SEC is the right conference for you.

-Don't celebrate a win in Louisiana bars because they'll either shoot you or beat you to death.

-If you're a purple heart veteran in Crimson and white, avoid Baton Rouge at all costs. Otherwise you'll get threatened and accosted by drunk LSU rednecks (who most likely claim to be "god fearing patriots" on social media).

-Don't hire LSU's ex coaches otherwise they'll gather in a field and burn him in effigy like some weird klan-like cult.

-Don't take minors to Tiger Stadium because the pedos there will tell them to "suck a Tiger dick".

-Prepare for your players and coaches to receive death threats from Louisiana people before a game.

-Never leave your booty unguarded in Tiger Stadium otherwise an LSU fan's finger may enter your shite tunnel (and they call Aggies "gay").

-Be careful when taking a piss in Tiger Stadium bathrooms because the janitors there will rob you.

-Prepare for 60 year old men in purple and gold to threaten officials (and their families) when one of their players is called for targeting a week before playing Alabama.

-Don't sit in the student section at Tiger Stadium otherwise you may get vomited on.

-If you're a beer vendor, avoid Baton Rouge like a plague. Otherwise, the fans there will likely steal thousands of dollars worth of beer from you.

-Louisiana is the second-poorest state in the union and also boasts the highest homicide rate. So prepare for Somalia with more swamps.

-If you're a minority, avoid the LSU student section because they'll call you the "n word".

-Wear Kevlar when visiting Baton Rouge.

-Watch out for piss balloons.

And how could I forget... don't open any hospitals in Louisiana. Otherwise they'll steal money from you to buy players with.

This is one of the best posts I've ever seen on here. Well done!

You need to occasionally refer to people as "baw".

Well, so was Tua. If he had stayed healthy I believe we would have won 4 natty's in a row (Mac Jones in 2020).

You keep telling yourself that.

If LSU lost their starting qb vs Bama in 2009...we might have actually won that game.

It's not. No idea why they have it organized that way.

The top SEC team to not make the NY6 is contractually obligated to go to the Citrus Bowl.

I was thinking the same thing. You can't script this stuff. There is no better fit.
So are you saying you don't believe Auburn fans would be hurt more losing a natty game than they do over losing a regular season game in a 6-6 season to Bama?

Man you guys really need to go outside and experience the world.

Think about how you felt before, during and after that play.

Now imagine that haoppening in virtuall every big game you play and even in some cupcakes games. That was what winning in the Les Miles era felt like at LSU. It was exhausting...

I'd much rather it not have to come to that.
No one riles up Bama fans quite like him. They HATE him. It's really funny.
MOJO-ERASER is an angry and bitter OU fan.

Every post he has mentions LSU. You still smarting over that arse kicking? You know we really should have gone for 100.

Are you old enough to still be mad about 2003 also?

This game honestly has felt like the Ohio St/Michigan matchup of the south for a while now.

There is hatred but not quite to the level of Ohio St/Michigan but when it comes to impact of the two schools playing it's always felt that way to me.

LSU isn't quite to the level of program tradition that Bama, Ohio St and Michigan are but they're sort of close.

I'll relent on Bama and Ohio State. I even understand mentioning Michigan.

But we have won 3 National Championships since Michigan won their last. Their last before that was like 1948.

Michigan has the blueblood era of the 20's to 70's history, but LSU has been far more succesful in the recent modern era.

re: Aggie yell leaders

Posted by LSUTigersLJM on 11/3/23 at 4:45 pm to
Guys don't expect the Aggies to yield. They are forced to drink the kool-aid in their cult orientation when they arrive as freshmen. Even their families attend the orientation and drink the kool-aid.

I have a pretty head strong co-worker who's kid was an Aggie. Even she won't relent despite slipping up and telling me it's a cult.
No one cares about the initial rankings. The only ones that matter are the final ones.

Also, why would be blowing a gasket over it? We are not in contention.

One more thing, do you post about anything other than LSU. Your team is having a great season and you already beat us. Why are we still on your mind?
Imagine if we has today's fan and school attitude back then.

Dooley would have been fired before he was ever able to get Georgia rolling.

Schools were far more patient back then and this is a case where it paid off.

I was going to post a troll response, but I appreciate your honesty / sincerity. It's interesting to theorize about what would have / could have been different. For sure Saban has grown as a coach, but I'm sure the university (and the people he surrounds himself with) have an impact on that growth. It would have been different at LSU, but it may not have curbed his success. Cheers

That's fair.

I actually think he would be having the same success here.

We have a fertile recruiting ground and no major in state competetion for the Louisiana talent. He would be here for 24 years now and would virtually be a god in this state. Every kid would want to play for him.

The fact that 2 average at best head coaches won National Championships here kind of shows the strength of the program itself.

They look like Mario and Luigi before and after getting a fire flower.
