Watched SEC football coming up, when it was on. Dad took me to Bama games at Legion, never to T town however. An Lsu convert I guess you could say back in the Hallman era.

They couldn't get to a bowl with a great qb. Like their chances this time. Gators will destroy them. (Just a side note, I believe if Vandy won out the conf. schedule they would be in Atlanta. Won't happen, but just thought that to be interesting)

Scoop, I'll tell ya what. I actually see what you have to say on here. This is an SEC board. However, the only bama fan threads on here that I actually read are yours most of the time. I've followed the sec for a long friggin time now. I don't know what shocks me more,,, Bama's sudden rise , or Auburns immediate decline. I guess it's the barns fall, cause I will admit Bama has had their hands tied behind their back due to sanctions, and bad coaching hires. hell, I'll even admit that bama losing out in 06 was a good thing cause Shula would still be there otherwise. Saban can coach, he can recruit, he can win. But you gotta admit with longhorns losing tonight, bama's coming to TS with a bullseye on their back Sat. Can they win? No doubt. Will they win? Time will tell.

Damn, that was below the belt, in a way... Feel for the guy, understand Tubbs doing what he has to do though.... Wow, a conundrum.... Wait, nevermind, Bama, and LSU battle it out for the West. Gottta love the SEC... Not saying that AU won't go 10-2 , and Tubbs coach of the year, , but you never know with the NCAA. Imagine if we had playoffs........

Tell yourself whatever you want to make yourself feel better. Actually, this is good for LSU. If tigers beat bama then it helps in the polls. Beating a good bama team is a better reflection than beating the teams they have fielded in the past five years. By the way, without Saban, LSU would still be a middle of the road SEC team. Truth, no one wants to admit it, but it's true....

Logical bama fans knew hogs were down going into this game. I'll bet the farm Saban and his staff knew it. Look for Petrino, in time to right the ship up there. Bama gets a good guage next week as to how far they have progressed. Thus far I am impressed with bama.

no joking, I think he (Applewhite) would be a good choice. Of course all Cutcliffe did was have winning seasons, and win bowl games. No telling what they will do in Oxford.

Yeah , Michigan has the lighter schedule, but the best football is played in the SEC. No ifs, ands, or buts. Look at the wins Miles has at LSU. No doubt SEC Champs this year.
