You get paid a lot to work there but it seems they should have heeded the warnings from the State Department and noticed that a lot of their non essential personnel in the region were getting the hell out of Dodge. Were they just not watching the news or checking their phones the weeks leading up?

Unfortunately, I doubt it will lead to any pain for Omar. We were evacuating non-emergency staff in surrounding countries the week before so we were not really making out general plans secret. She really didn't know anything the China and Russia had not already told Iran. She was removed from the Foreign Affairs committee last year to make sure she can't give any actionable intelligence to the enemy.

I have actually seen stories from them pop up a lot over the past year when I do a search. Likely because they actually report on stories the likes of CBS will ignore. India is generally a pretty conservative country.

I think the fear is there is government "encouragement" for people who have mental/cognitive problems or temporary quality of life issues to end their life.

I am sure they have the expertise and logistics to feed and supply 200 million military personnel (or even 100k) when they have never done anything close to that in their entire history.

ICE helps with it but, by itself, they really don't have enough tools to track down state sponsored terrorist that have been trained and funded to evade detection. They typically have to work with the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force. ICE is pretty good with illegals that are already on their radar but these sleeper cells are very well hidden.
