Im kind of over Leavitt. I hope he ends up at Nebraska. He deserves their cold winters with nothing but corn to look at.
They had a few pieces that were ok. All in all, they might have been the worst team in FBS. time to flush it, and start all over.
We're getting Longstreet or Leavitt, but not both. Clark would be an awesome get with either.
Agreed. Hes moving to start, not be a backup for another year.

This kid is not coming to lsu to be a backup. Hes absolutely starting if we get him.
Im all in on the first s.o.b that signs. Im serious! We just need a qb on the roster at this point. Then maybe we would all settle down and enjoy the rest of the haul.
Is he white?

Just looked at a few more pics. I thought he was maybe Hispanic or something. Good player though.

Some way, somehow, I pray we sign a quarterback. We absolutely have to have a quarterback.

But no qb wants to die. Looks like we better get some better o linemen as well.
Id just feel better if they had a qb commit. Whoever it is will be someone that they think can work, but we need to get someone committed.

not all the sold on the guys we brought in being an upgrade, or even an equal to the guys we lost, plus we still haven't brought in enough

At this point we need 3 more ol prospects minimum. Gotta have mobile quarterbacks it looks like. Although, why would you want anything else?
Good thing he's used to running.

At this rate he's our starter, and our oline situation is suspect.

If we can even get him to sign that is.
ChRxis,

You seem to be reading the situation like I am. You are correct, hopefully he's not pushing for a starting spot.
Lock the kid up. You have to have a qb.

Even if we get Leavitt, this kids gonna take first team reps in the spring while Leavitt is healing. Looks to me like he could push for the job.

What if Leavitt gets healthy and is not the Leavitt of old? Or what if we don't land a true starter from the portal. At some point you have to have a qb on the roster.

Seems like a lot of drama around this kat. Idk if its worth it or not.
I do think most people are over college football right now. Ive list a lot of interest for sure. There has to be some regulations put on this stuff, or its just gonna get worse.
We'd take any qb period, at this point.
It makes me cringe. I seriously have 2nd hand embarrassment for these people.

Didnt Joseph end up at Wisconsin?

The Hauss Henje kid could work. He is big time fast, and accurate enough. I think Lane could make this kid into another Chambliss. Maybe an underwhelming get, but one that could work out for sure. And at a reduced rate.
