Ive my Astro A50s for about 5 years and they are still trucking along with great quality.
They have an update version I think called the A50x. Pricey but absolutely worth it.

They are certainly not the first in the country to be using drones. The title is misleading.

Gotta be the same owners. The "mongolian" grill was what Foo Chow use to have and they discontinued it.

I went on opening day.
They did a great job at marketing it as the next best buffet in BR.
Its just your typical Chinese buffet, nothing special. Deep friend hard shell blue crabs, sesame chicken, "Crab" Rangoons with just cream cheese as the filing, salt and pepper chicken, basic sushi rolls, hibachi station, all the typical fruits and desserts that you would see at any other Chinese buffet....

Craigslist is dead or full of scammers. Stay away. Facebook Marketplace is his best option.
re: Entergy LA vs. Demco
Posted by Roy Curado on 1/12/26 at 9:37 am to Will Cover
Demco's response times are some of the worst in the region. I made the switch from an Entergy residence to Demco residence last year and really have not noticed a major change other than Demco's UI an App are years behind what Entergy has (I also still have the Entergy residence). It's also harder to get a hold of someone at Demco.
FWIW - Here are my comparisons to Entergy and Demco bills for similar usages:
Demco 1,241 kWh Nov 2025
Access Charge: $12
Delivery Charge: 1241 kWh @ 0.028346 $35.18
Wholesale Power Charge: 1241 kWh @ 0.08026 $99.60
FF-CR Rider: -$0.21
Formula Rate Plan: $23.31
SLR Rider 2: $2.69
Roundup: $0.43
Total: $173
For Entergy 1,112 kWh Nov 2025
Customer Charge: $10
Energy Charge: $94.75
Storm Restoration Offset: -$2.42
Fuel Adjustment: 1112 kWh @ $0.0258 = $28.69
Federal Mandated EAC Rider: $0.02
Total: $131.04

re: CC point game going to change with Trumps 10% plan?
Posted by Roy Curado on 1/10/26 at 2:53 pm to baldona
CC companies do not lose on points. The amount of money they rake in from interests is truly remarkable. There is a reason why people don't think of Visa and Mastercard as 2 of the biggest monopolies in our country.

Honestly any of those sound great. If they haven't been to grand canyons. Do Sedona, and take a day trip to Williams, AZ to do the Grand Canyon Railroad up to the Grand Canyon.

They must spray them with some fragrance or something because I just checked on mine after buying them, probably about 1.5 years ago, and they are still very fragrant and pungent.

What is PayPal used for now?
Something that 100s of other companies are doing.

I am actually a huge McDonald's fan.
The McRib is the only thing on their menu that is absolutely disgusting and not tolerable.

Not sure why this forum is so set on RecTeq. Not saying they are not good but Traeger's high end models are really good.
re: Not a new topic: Hunter participation rates falling.

I am in my late 20s and have a 1-hour drive to family 200 acres of prime hunting land near Centerville, MS.
I just don't really enjoy the "thrill" of hunting. Rather be 1 hour in the other direction on a boat on top of a school of redfish or specks.

Went once and will not go back. Cool vibe but expensive drinks and awkwardly in the same room with a very diverse group.

This guy needs more help than just fat camp. Unfortunately, he can only help himself once he realizes he has a problem. It may be too late before he does...

Wife and I stayed in Rome for 5 days and spent around $5,000 (not including our flights).
We stayed at Rome Cavalieri and did all the paid tours you can imagine. We went extravagant for FWIW.

The chicken lettuce wraps and kung pao chicken at PF Changs is bomb. Anything else is mediocre.

I researched this heavily when they announced the first one. It is really only beneficial to people in hubs.
re: What’s the craziest cheating story you’ve ever heard?
Posted by Roy Curado on 12/11/25 at 4:43 pm to Chastains
My best friend and his wife have been together for 8 years. She cheated on him for 6 of those years. He first found out the day they brought their daughter home when he saw a random snapchat from a co-worker and she confessed (back in 2022). He stayed with her. Then she just randomly confessed in June of this year and told him it had never stopped after that with all the nasty details. He is still trying to work things out with her...
I think of him as a coward now.

re: New truck or spend $ to extend warranty?
Posted by Roy Curado on 12/9/25 at 5:23 pm to Neauxla
I just traded in my 2018 raptor in the BR area about 2 months ago with 63k miles and got $39k for trade in.
I traded it in for a 21 plat with 28k miles on it that was priced at $48K
I regret not getting another extended warranty on my Raptor and keeping it.
As a previous Raptor owner who regrets his decision, pay the warranty (shop around for any cheaper ones because $8,500 does seem steep) and keep your baby or trade up for another Gen 3 Raptor.
