You're exactly right. The modern Heisman winner should at least be a conference division champion if not the conference champion and also his team should be positioned to be in the playoffs. No one's even going to remember his name a month from now.

Those two words have sent an entire sec western division fan base into a meltdown with the likes of which we have never seen before. Fans of that children's hospital looting swamp school have called for the harm of the Alabama player who simply made a textbook tackle. Fans of that children's hospital looting swamp school have called for beatings and deaths and suicide of Alabama fans posting on this board all because of a tackle on their qb. These are very sick and deranged psychopaths that we are dealing with. Sad times indeed. I'm still waiting for all the players who were charged with the rapes of other students and athletes to answer for those charges. It's a broken culture down there complete with a mafia style fan base who protects criminals from facing Justice. Oh how a pity those helpless female victims who have to deal with this Injustice.

That there was someone who really truly deserved the Heisman and didn't win it. His name was Mac Jones and it just so happened that he played on a team which most believe to be the greatest team ever that had 4 other Heisman finalists. I think Mac finished second to Devonta Smith but any of those guys could have won it and deservedly so.

Fans on here. I've never experienced this level of hatred before. This season Bama and Saban have really taken a toll on their mental well being. It's like they have been stressed way past their naturally diminished mental capacities. I can't help but wonder if Ed O has fathered thousands of bayou babies over the last 35-40 years and that those who managed to get public internet access have ended up here. The majority of the time when I read an LSU fans post I can just hear Ed O screaming thru the screen.

Shouldn't a Heisman winner

Be playing for some type of championship or at least be on a team that wins a division or makes the playoffs? There's more to being a Heisman winner than having gaudy numbers. Shouldn't the Heisman winner display leadership, toughness and resilience. Shouldn't he be someone that can overcome adversity in the tough games? I'll hang up and listen.
