Dude, y'all just lost to freaking A&M. Are you sure you should be starting this thread?
We are all still here. Unlike aggies after that App State beatdown.
Yeah, the OU defense completely forgot how to tackle Saturday. Offense had too many penalties at key times. It was an overall shite performance.

We would sneak in early and steal their tiger like we did the land.

In my estimation the key for Ags is our run game this weekend. Has not looked good at all so far.

I agree with this. Whoever runs the ball the best will win this game. Which is usually the case but probably more so in this one.

That’s A&M’s recent record against Arkansas. It’d be smart to settle down on some of the trash talk. Your team is not good.

Does that past record help A&M in anyway with this football game? Should be a good game but I fail to see how the record of the series helps you win this one.

Okie Lite is cutting their own throat with this.

They are for sure. It's about the only game they sell out for. A lot of their season tickets are bought for this game. OSU makes them buy season tickets in order to get OU tickets. They can't buy them individually.

I hope we replace this rivalry with Arkansas. It is crazy we haven't played much being so close in proximity.

Bedlam was killed by ou when they made their decision to join the SEC,

Can you explain why this killed it? Other schools still play each other every year despite the fact they are in separate conferences? It's a terrible decision by osu. The only game you sell out is the OU game. You have to buy season tickets to even get tickets for the OU game when it is in stillwater.

Doesn't surprise me though.

The money is already set aside to fire Fisher if it came to that.

This is not true. A&M can't even afford to buy player's this recruiting cycle.
Harsin for sure. Jimbo has a&m by the balls with his buyout. A&M likes other men having them by the balls so, I am sure that is why they put that in the contract. How much would it cost Auburn to get rid of Harsin?
Is he still trying to hit the long ball if his first read isn't open? He does have a terrible habit of throwing off his back foot.
Happy as a pig in shite considering how bad we have been on the defensive side the last few years. Offense has kept it very vanilla the first few games and that is about to change.
Could you explain to everyone why Tejas named their stadium after an OU All-American football player?

This is UT a&m all over again. One side is going this say it’s the other side refusing then the other side says the same. No one can prove anything.

All you have to do is read the athletic directors statements.

OSU AD- “(Playing Oklahoma) presents logistical issues under our current (scheduling) structure,” Weiberg told McMurphy. “We don’t have any openings to play them. We’re full. Unless there are significant undertakings to make the game happen, it can’t happen.”

OU AD- “Oklahoma State has shown no interest to schedule any future games in football, so we’re moving on (with filling OU’s future non-conference openings),” Castiglione said in The Action Network’s report.
quote:

Auburn - there's a name I haven't seen brought up, but why not Jeff Lebby?

How about no. He is just fine where he is.

First, the truth is in the middle.

You have no clue what you're talking about.
Yeah, I am not happy about this. OU only needs 10 more wins to get to 100 wins in this so called rivalry. The OU athletic director said OSU shows no interest in continuing to play so OU is moving on.
quote:

OU has had both with stoops, Riley, and now Venables. I’ll take stoops and Venables with a competent OC any day over the charmin soft Riley teams. If you watch USC right now they look like cookie cutter OU teams from 2015-2021, a defense usually out of position and open running lanes, with receivers running behind the DBs. Lucky for them they haven’t played a single decent QB yet. Watching OU play elite defense again is a far better feeling. OU is such a good example because the teams are highly talented, and they have had elite teams throughout BCS and playoff eras but have lost due to lack of a defensive culture specifically.

This is the correct answer. OU is the perfect example.

he'll start after Quinn leaves. He is a 5-star, his last name is Manning, he is starting. Period.

This is what is wrong with your program. Chris Simms should have never started but he did because his name was Simms. Who gives a shite how many stars he has and what his last name is? If he isn't good enough, he shouldn't start. However, we all know that is not how the longhorns do things.

What do you look forward to most with Texas joining the SEC?

Not having to carry your sorry program by ourselves. We will finally have some help.
As an OU fan, you have no idea how happy those defensive numbers make me. Offensive numbers will improve as well. Lebby kept it extremely vanilla in the first couple of games and opened it up a bit against Nebraska. Finally have some hope if we get in the playoffs.

They own Texas so odds are high.

That’s three gimmies.

My picks if it were up to me.
Shorthorn’s
Arkansas
LSU

Hope this cat is worth it.

He won’t be. It’s another Chris Simms situation.

Texas had it’s worst decade ever and it still doesn’t being to reach the level of such that has been the Arkansas razorbacks.

Uh, you lost to Kansas twice. Lost to them last year at home. You can talk all you want about recruiting rankings but the facts are, Texas can't develop those players. Texas has a bunch of highly rated prima donnas and we will continue to whip your arse on the field.
quote:

LSU has home and home with Oklahoma in 2027 and 2028
So I guess those are in limbo as well

I hope we get to play soon. I have a buddy that is an LSU alumni and offered to have us down for our first game at LSU. Really looking forward to it.

Don’t want bedlam to continue. No reason for it to do so. Let them sink on their own without us playing them and filling up Rustoleum Stadium for them.

I would like OU to keep playing them until we at least get win 100. It won't take long.

It may surprise you to find out that Aggies don't give a frick what you think.

This guy was definitely a yell leader.

A&M: where you have to sit through 2 hours of gay stand up comedy and dance around like a fruit to try to kiss a girl. Gig em!

I would cut them a little slack here. After watching those videos, it's probably the first opportunity many of them have had to kiss a girl.
I’m more partial to Tennessee’s mustard bottle tradition.

We don't seek out the gays here in the SEC.

Dude, their like a flaming homo wearing a pink tutu sucking a dick on a big rainbow float going down the middle of the road at a gay pride parade and your stuck at a red light forced to watch it.

You don’t have to search they’re gayness out. It’s right in your face.
