I always feel like I need to preface my thread with a "yes I know my name is grammatically incorrect". Having said that I think this is an innocent question but if you rantards sacrifice me like Jim Rome zombies I guess I will know better. Does anyone around the Baton Rouge area know if any miraculous meetings have taken place with Les Miles about the OC position, meddling in offensive play calling or figuring out what the heck needs to be done to fix our offense? I'm far away from home these days and this is an honest question. I love LSU football and I just wish we could be all we can be. I know its hard to get away from the Les lovers and the Les haters to answer something like this but it was worth a shot. Feel free to insert your "FAIL" comments now. Geaux Tigers!

I live in birmingham. All the affiliates I am looking at on LSUfootball.net are playing basic ESPN coverage. Is there any pre-game radio I can listen to somewhere online? Thanks folks. Geaux Tigers!

tigerbait i feel you but you gotta remember we are the new generation of the who dat nation. those fans that came before us has very little if anything to look forward to. we have had payton and brees re invent the saints version of a wheel since 2006 and we just got the most dynamic dc in franchise history. i know it sucks. we were 1:37 away from hosting the giants in New Orleans but thats the madness of playoff football and no matter how many points you can score thats where the defense does win the fricking championships. be excited brother. we got a super bowl and a team in its prime in terms of their window of opportunity. stick with us tigerbait. it hurts now but the run aint over yet......

I never played football so I dont know the tactical advantages or disadvantages of a 3-4 or 4-3 for that matter. I know JDR has ties to this area and was a coach with the Saints at one point in time. I know Spags has ties to Jim Johnson who was supposedly a defensive genius until his death from melanoma in 2009. I know Mike Nolan is off the board at this point as well. Gregg Williams was supposed to be the defensive savior for us 3 years ago and yes he did help us win a super bowl with that turnover city defense but we still have never had a pass rush and we have a propensity for giving up way too many big plays. Its like our defense has always lacked discipline and technique. For you guys that are x and o experts out there which DC candidate makes sense for us? Can we create a pass rush with the players we have now purely based off scheme or are we lacking the talent?

I appreciate the fact unlike the Tiger fan rantards, you guys and girls actually love the saints and want to discuss football and not rip each other on these threads when someone says something not status quo or spells a word incorrectly. Having said all that, STILL understanding the NFL is a multl-billion dollar business, are the saints really going to franchise the savior and super bowl mvp Drew Damn Brees??? I know Irsay doesn't run the saints does he? The franchise tag is the death sentence! No one comes back from that! Ask Justin Smith, Dunta Robinson, Jared Allen, Abreyo Franklin, etc. Its about money on both sides and I understand that. Can someone please reassure me that Mickey Loomis is gonna be a man of integrity and wrap Brees up with a long term deal. This has been the worst football week of my life with the Tigers and Saints losing like this. I dont wanna hear no damn franchise tag.

Just because I know the level of fanaticism on this board that I love so much, does anyone have some researched info on the success rate of Juco players transferring back to major programs vs regular recruits. I mean Cam Newton has set the bar pretty damn high both figuratively and monetarily. It would seem in theory that ZM should be more prepared this coming year than a straight up freshman coming in right??

For clarification purposes and because I'm too damn lazy to research on the web who was our oc for both years and what style would you folks say we ran? Pro Style??? I want a reference point for a friend of mine that is a Tennessee fan and keeps giving me crap. I just think we have two drastically different qbs out there and no identity on offense. It seems like less would be more.
