Happy for my dude to get his full scholarship and a NIL deal. Look at God work it out for this young man so sad it couldn't be done in the state he lives in and love so much. Unfortunately he was not able to put on for it the great state of LOUISIANA like he wanted to. Good luck to him in Texas and happy to hear he got his opportunity and blessings.

That young man been here since the Summer session of last year. He transferred in May 2021 .He has done 3 semesters at LSU. Summer 2021, Fall 2021 and now Spring 2022.

Yes they did and he took Pig out the mix for the 3rd nickel spot. That's exactly what happened. That who they said they wanted there and push him off to corner.

They is Bk staff . Coach Cook if names need to said. He was never given a rep at Nickel nor at corner when they move him. He told him had who they wanted. I think once they got Greg it changed the nickel depth with Sage and they move any guy to nickel name Derrick too.

I'm not complaining about anything. But TRANT was ready to bash a young man that's really trying to fulfill his dreams. I'm just telling the true story of what happened. He will prove everyone wrong and he not feeling sorry himself. Just was making a statement on here that there is two side to every story. He loved LSU and didn't want to leave. Exactly my point this whole time its just a unfortunate situation.

He want to stay but the db coach told him that if he moved back to nickel he would get 0 playing time no rep . The actually move someone else to Nickel with Brooks and Ryan too.

You right and life moves on . But there some people on here that think he felt he was entitled to something when he wasn't looking for entitlement. He was looking for a fair opportunity to earn his way to top.

Nope not his father but I do know the family well. And no his family not bad off at all. I got facts and no need to lie or inflate numbers. But lose your house and business all on the same day from a storm. He don't live in a dorm he lives in a Nicholson apt which is 5500 per semester per semester alone.

It is scholarship related. They told him he would be evaluated during the spring and possibly summer. Then they moved him from Nickel to cornerback the day before spring started. Because they said they were full at the Nickel position wherehe has been since he got here.. No opportunity to show what he can do to earn his scholarship.

Whether his parents took out loans or took ot loans or not. LOANS NEED TO BE PAID THEY NOT FREE. WALK-ONS PAY FOR EVERYTHING. Regardless of what you think you THEY PAID.

He was ready to compete and do whatever he need to do. He didn't want nothing given to him. He wanted to earn it. But when it's made clear that there is no opportunity to play or even get reps at practice to get fairly evaluate for playing time. What choice does the young man have. He's never been scared of competition. He was locked and loaded ready to go.

I will give you the full story . Pig left Nicholls where he was on a full scholarship freshman all American etc. He was told be the previous staff walk on because no more scholarship were available when he decided to transfer there back in May of 2021. His parents paid for school this year 45k and hoping he can earn his scholarship like he was told. Then during Hurricane Ida his parents lost their business and home. He plays in the bowl game and does great. Now the new staff comes in they pick up transfer in his position and they tell him . We have no reps for you at Nickel we moving you to cornerback. A position he has never played at the bottom of depth chart still with no fair opportunity to earn a scholarship to pay for school next year. So what you want him to do there is no option for him and no opportunity to earn anything.

He's a Freshman All- American, Jerry Rice Award Finalists. He better than than some of them 4 and 5 star players they got. That man walked way from a full scholarship to pursuit a dream as walk on cause he was lied to that he would get a scholarship when one became available. He a 5 star in my book.

Nah its about getting fair opportunity at your craft. Its like getting up going to work everyday with no pay and you trying your hardest to earn your paycheck but they keep putting you off. How you gonna get a fair shot when fair opportunity is not g8ven

Yes he is the most underrated player on this roster with a promise to come walk on because all the scholarships had been given away for that year and they were short due to self imposed sanctions due to the OBJ scandal. He walked way from a full scholarship, Freshman All-America and a Jerry Rice Award Finalists season to bring his talents to LSU because it was his dream school and wanted to rep the great state of Louisiana at DBU. Betting on himself, talents, passion,drive, work ethic and athletic abilities. This young man is a Rummel graduate helping lead his football team to State Championship
on a defense that will go down in Rummel school History as one of the best ever. He was one of their leaders on side of Donovan Kaufman. Some may have even called him the heart and soul of that defense. Pig Cage plays bigger than his size and he plays with heart and grit. Yeah it was Kansas State where he really got an opportunity to play. But he also played in the Alabama game this year holding his weight to whom some consider the best players in country. However his efforts have gone unnoticed yet again and to me it doesn't matter if a player is 4 star or 5 star. PIG was a 3 star coming out of high school and still became a freshman All American. He was in the 10 top in the country in FCS leading in TFL'S. The truth is it's about politics,media hype and who they got more invested in it's not about anything else. You can be a blue collar player and bring your lunchbox everyday.You work hard be on time and still never get a raise or a fair shot. This not no Rudy story. This a young man that got Big dreams. But unfortunately he getting buried under names, stars and no opportunity to show his raw talent to the world like he wants too. But I know that kid personally and his family and I'll bet the bank that he'll take any one them nickels spot if they honestly and fairly gave him a shot.
