Fatherhood is a sacrifice. Learn to enjoy what he likes. I became a dad (deliberately) at 48. I'm knocking on the door of 60 and my son is still 11. I never played any sports in my life other than of soccer in my life. He had no interest and liked baseball. I'm now a Little League coach and were headed to a pro game to watch in a couple of weekends. The wife (no pics) and I think monster truck shows are stupid, but we go with him when they are in the area. You'll be ok Dad!

As a white baw, I was an Assistant Professor at three different universities. My time at an HBCU was the worst due to the racism.

Get a Carfax report on the VIN and ask if they would let a mechanic you trust check it out. Also make sure it has a clean title.

Try the top of Stratosphere, I think it's called The Strat now. It has a rotating restaurant at the top (about 1000 feet over the city) and each rotation takes about an hour. We were last there about 12 years ago but it was awesome.

We haven't live in Louisiana since 2011, but wife (no pics) and I did retain our 225 area code phone numbers since family and friends had them. We haven't been back to LA in about 2 years and we're getting them. Neither of us even have LA Driver's Licenses anymore nor are our cars still registered in LA.
