I agree. Lane has a history of not staying with programs. I have felt all along that when he took the job at Ole Miss, it was just a jumping off place. He’s complained about our fans’ lack of participation in the stadium, so I wonder how satisfied he is. I’ve also read he hasn’t signed his new contract. That makes me nervous.
I doubt anything will be done to LSU.

Their offense is bad. The glory days of Trevor Lawrence are over.
I despise him & hope he loses every game. He’s a low life creep.
UT has had decades of sexual misconduct swept under the rug & ignored by the NCAA.
I think there’s a lot of truth in what you say. We live in a society where manliness is discouraged & being a wimp is encouraged. I personally want my man to be masculine. Coach O is definitely masculine & I thought he was the perfect fit for LSU. I honestly hate to see him lose his job, especially when it looks like the team may have turned a corner.
That is an infringement of their rights! No one should be forced to be injected with something that they have no idea what is in it or what affect it may have on their health. This is Marxism at its finest & violates the Constitution & the Nuremberg code.
Always some sleaze ball attorney looking to cash in at every opportunity. The idea is ridiculous. This is a matter for the NCAA to handle to insure the safety of players, coaches & fans.
Retarded is throwing objects at the opposing team’s bench because you disagree with the ref’s call. Had the call gone the other way, the Rebels would have had to live with the decision. The opposing team is not to blame for the officiating crew’s calls.
I agree that UT is heading in the right direction. I’m an Ole Miss fan & the Vols gave the Rebs a tough game, especially in the 2nd half. It could have gone either way & the Vols had every opportunity to win in the closing seconds. Still, throwing objects that could injure our players & coaches because you disagree with a call made by the refs is unacceptable. The opposing team has to live with the decision of the officiating group as well as the home team, no matter the outcome.
Or mustard bottles! How did they get mustard into the stadium & why would someone bring it unless they planned to hurl it at someone?
As an Ole Miss fan, I agree & I dread facing them.
I didn’t post the question marks. No idea how they appeared. That being said,I am not a fan of Dan Mullen. I think he is a low life sleaze ball & I would love to see him get canned at UF. I will admit however that he is good at developing QBs. That’s the only good thing I can say about him. Some of his players have a reputation as dirty players & I believe that is his coaching style.

What a racist comment! My opinion of a college town is based on the appearance of the town ( is it clean & are the buildings attractive?). I also look at what restaurants are there, the stores (can you find things you need there?), medical facilities, a friendly atmosphere.
I think Georgia wins out. From what I’ve seen, Georgia is without a doubt the best team in the country.
Amen! The seats in that stadium are so tight & are straight up. I was scared to stand up. The fans act like they are far superior to your team. They’re arrogant & trashy.
Amen! The call was right. UT fans won’t acknowledge the fact that earlier in the game, Ole Miss was called for hands to the face while UT was guilty of holding at the same time. The refs overlooked the holding call & only penalized Ole Miss, giving the Vols a 1st down. Jordan Rodgers saw the hold & commented that the play was coming back. Replay clearly showed holding, yet it wasn’t called. Besides the 4th down call, UT still had every opportunity to win the game, but fell short. That one call was not the determining factor in the outcome. To throw objects at the Rebel bench because you disagree with the call is classless & should not be tolerated.
Banning alcohol sales isn’t the answer. They’ll drink anyway. Students at every school sneak alcohol into games & have done so for years. That won’t stop. If you can get a big bottle of mustard into a game without question, how carefully do they check students anyway?
I think they need to move the student section to the end zone. Having them behind the visitor’s bench shows how classless they are. Putting them there only encourages heckling & throwing things at players & coaches. Their punishment should be a ban of all fans in that section of the stadium for the remainder of the season. Those students/fans don’t care if the school gets hit with a financial fine. That won’t deter this type of behavior. In addition, they should be banned from any post season play for at least 2 years. If Sankey lets them get by with this trashy behavior, it will only encourage other fans in other schools to do the same. The punishment needs to be swift & harsh. The band & cheerleaders had to leave for their own safety. Pathetic!
Whine, whine! The call on 4 th down was right. Yes, some bad calls were made, but surprisingly they got that one right. I guess you didn’t notice the non call on UT for holding earlier in the game. Aaron Rodgers saw it & said the run was coming back. The refs let that slide & called hands to the face on Ole Miss, giving UT a 1st down. UT had every opportunity to win the game, but didn’t get it done & that was after the 4th down call. Regardless of how upset you are with the officiating, to throw objects at the opposing team’s bench & its coaches is classless. They had nothing to do with the call & would have to accept the decision no matter which way it fell. And tell me why people bring golf balls & mustard to a ball game unless they intended to hurl them at someone, namely Kiffin. Kiffin showed a lot of class for being complimentary of the UT fan base after the game despite how trashy they acted.

I agree that the call was right. Earlier in the game, however, the refs overlooked a holding call on UT & only called the hands to the face on Ole Miss. Jordan Rodgers clearly saw the holding call in the booth, yet the refs let it slide, giving UT a 1st down. UT still had every opportunity to win the game, yet didn’t get it done. Their fans acted classless & took out their unfounded frustrations on the Rebel players who weren’t responsible for the call. SEC officiating is terrible at times & appears at times to be biased. That shouldn’t be tolerated. The Arkansas/Ole Miss game had some bad officiating. Twice Corral was hit after sliding, but the refs never called it, even when the officials were looking right at it.
Nick Saban is the gold standard & very few coaches come close to his success rate. Personally, I think James Franklin is a great coach. What he did at Vanderbilt was unprecedented. I’d say that job is the toughest in the SEC. I’d pursue him, but I doubt he will leave PSU.

I like Dabo, too, and agree that Bama will be his next stop.

As an Ole Miss fan, steer clear of Freeze. The man was responsible for the damage done to the Rebel program, yet threw his coaches under the bus, letting them take the fall while he walked away unscathed. A lot of Rebel fans still love him & want him back because of the Sugar Bowl win. Yes, that was fun, but they seem to forget the embarrassing Peach Bowl whipping, the losses in games after being ahead by 20+ points, & the 5 win season his final year, even with all the talent we had. I don’t believe for a second that he didn’t know what was going on. His personal issues were embarrassing, but his lack of taking responsibility for the actions that led to the NCAA investigation & his lack of humility & not apologizing to the players & fan base were far worse. I wouldn’t wish him on anyone! He isn’t what he claims to be.

I agree that SEC officiating is awful, but the call on that 4 th down play was the right call. Earlier in the game, the officials overlooked an obvious holding call against UT that Jordan Rodgers saw and pointed out. Instead, the call for hands to the face was called against Ole Miss, giving UT a 1st down. UT had every opportunity to still win the game after the call on 4 th down, but didn’t do so. The fans acted classless, throwing objects at the Ole Miss bench. Those players had nothing to do with the ref’s call. It is classless to have the student section behind the visitor’s team bench anyway. Put them in the end zone so they can’t harm players. As for the refs, if you think Ole Miss gets the benefit of calls, look at the Arkansas game. The officiating was terrible. Twice when Corral slid, Arkansas players fell on him after he was down & the refs never called it. No matter how bad officiating is, you should never take it out on the other team.
