re: Corporate Card Expense Reporting
Posted by Cards Suck on 11/5/23 at 12:21 am to kaaj24
We use Concur and it has generally been good from both an end user and program admin perspective. We have 2500+ employees, so not sure if it makes sense for your scale.
Reading the comments about corporate vs personal card, if I am running the program I am mandating corporate cards. From a fraud perspective if you allow personal cards the employees can submit fake/found receipts for reimbursement. If it is on a corporate card you have a verifiable record that the transaction actually happened plus you will often get additional detail in the feed from the card company (e.g., airline itineraries and fare classes, rental car folio details, etc.) that can help substantiate transactions even if the employee loses the receipt.

Marriage and Divorce reform.
At fault divorce would result in penalties for the at fault party (cheater is fined/jail time)
Parents are treated as equals, not favoring the mother.
Make marriage licenses much harder to get.
We may be in a better place if we started respecting family and marriage again.
I'd add...
- If it is a no fault divorce, or if legitimate grounds cannot be proven, all legal fees and court costs for both parties are subtracted from the petitioner's share of the marital estate.
- There is no alimony. Get a damn job!
- Receipts must be submitted to prove child support is actually spent on the children.
- False or unprovable allegations of abuse, adultery, etc., result in a substantial reduction in the accuser's share of assets.
The current legal environment provides too great an incentive for one party to blow up the marriage, with nearly all the costs being borne by the other spouse and children.

I have in the past. Not a ton and valued them at $.05 each which I thought was defensible.
Here's a related question: is it worth holding onto junk era commons, or put another way is there any reason I shouldn't just donate the extras and take the tax write-off? I want to complete and keep a set of these, but I don't think I need to hold onto 10 1991 Topps Anthony Young cards.

Using these coupons in the app is the way to go. You know before you go whether they will accept the coupon or not, plus you get to avoid the line and the awkward "I want this and this but not that..." interaction. Just show up and it is ready to go.

They only have a few highways that are almost entirely two lane outside of the cities. Not really conducive to high speed limits.
I do remember them having turnouts every 5 miles or so with a big sign saying "delay of 4 or more cars illegal." Pretty cool to keep from getting stuck behind a slow poke forever.

Stopped for lunch at the whataburger there years ago and just got a really weird vibe about the place. I ate quick and got the hell out of there.
My only other impression of Vidor is the billboard about the murdered woman that was up along I-10 for years. Amazing to think how that one billboard sullied the reputation of that town for millions of passers-by.

You guys are missing the boat here. They are doing this because they want you to forget about all the tranny stuff and go back to mindlessly buying BL. They lose money now and make it back later when you buy more BL not on a rebate.
So you want to stick it to BL? Buy this crap, collect the rebate, and make AB InBev lose even more money. Surely most of you baws will get drunk enough to drink this at some point. Then go back to buying whatever other beer you want.

I went down an internet rabbit hole a while back and saw this too. At least in the past Walmarts would generally allow this. Walmart was a preferred location for thus type of camping because there was generally security patrols that would ensure the campers weren't harassed during the night, the store itself was convenient for restocking supplies, and because a lot of these were 24 hours they had access to bathroom facilities as needed.

I used to work for a very large company that used Skype messaging. There were several thousand people in offices across the world on it. One day some poor bastard accidentally blasts a group message out to everyone in the company. That set off the moron chain reaction of people sending "what is this?", "Why am I getting this?", "I don't think this is for me", etc. That was followed by dozens of well meaning dumbasses telling everyone to stop replying to it. The whole thing went on for a few hours pinging everyone's computer.
Basically the same thing happened where I worked except it was email and somehow everyone in a company of 100k+ employees in time zones around the world got looped in. Reply to all hell of people replying to say to stop replying to all went on for several hours before most of us created Outlook filters to delete the messages and stop notifications.

bullshite, the woman gets to make a decision and the man has to pay for it?
I feel this way about the divorce process in general. Most of the time it is the woman who files but then she will typically want more than half of the assets, child support, and alimony to maintain her standard of living. Who pays for it? The man, of course, who will often be left with a much lower standard of living after getting fleeced by the divorce industrial complex.
I'd say it should be the party who initiates the divorce is automatically barred from receiving more than 50% of assets and/or alimony and would have the other party's legal costs taken from their share of property. That is unless there is a provable cause for filing (infidelity, abandonment, abuse, etc.). Somehow you have to remove these financial incentives for (usually) women to divorce their husbands and make a half-arsed attempt to work it out.

Oddly enough my corporate card is MC. Agree most other corporate cards I have seen are Visa with a handful of AMEX.
I had a DC card as a corporate card back in the mid-2000s. I tried to buy office supplies at Walmart once and they didn't take it. When the world's largest retailer doesn't take your card, that shows how useless it is. Our DC cards were converted to MC (still had DC branding on them) around 2007.

You really need to focus on finding the right woman. Married 12 years and loving the family life.
You will always be faced with challenges in a relationship. Wouldn't you feel better and have pride if it was with someone you committed to and not just head for the hills when times are tough?
Don't think just because you got 12 years in that you found the right woman. I got about 15 good years before she turned into a total count.
Reality is the system is rigged against the men. Men are generally more committed than the women because the men have so much more to lose. In a divorce the man will usually lose his home, half his crap, custody of his children, and will be on the hook for crippling child support/alimony payments to support his former wife's lifestyle. The woman generally gets a long-term meal ticket with no real impact to her standard of living. Any wonder most divorces are initiated by women?
