re: Kiffin and former players

I think what you’re asking is, will Lane encourage former LSU legends to come back and attend practices and be part of the football culture? I think he absolutely should, and I believe he will.

Tell us you don’t know shite without telling us you don’t know shite.
Nah. I think it’s Beck. Don’t let his meth face fool you. He’s a baller.
It’s gotta hurt to watch your best QB compete for the Title.
Hope you frat boys in your quarter zips and scarfs will recover soon. Have a toddy under a crystal chandelier to ease the pain.

He looks like he did a few years in Angola.
I think Indiana just scored on y'all again
Buddy of mine knows his Dad, and tells me it’s true. Who knows?
Great young lady. I’ve known her family for years. Happy to see that she’s a Tiger!
Yeah, and we all loved it when he did it. We didn’t call him things like Satan or anything like that. We completely understood.
It’s hard to say. If people were depending on me to stay true to the contract I made with them in the middle of a crucial season, I’d have a responsibility to do the right thing. It’s complicated, and I’m sure it’s complicated for Lane too. But I think coaching at the college level is a pretty unique situation that’s probably unlike most job considerations. I just don’t like the way it all goes down. It puts coaches in situations that make them seem hypocritical, because it goes against every aspect of team ethics.
Ok Mr Power. I’m sure you’re at the top of the food chain. How’d you manage to post on this shite show board with all that power you’re wielding?
So, you’re fine with the way this goes down? Nothing about it seems unethical to you? Leaving your team in a playoff run? I’m sure you’d support it if it was LSU’s Coach leaving under the same circumstances, right?
Well, if Saban did it then never mind! He does everything right.
No. I’d rather hire someone who tells both sides that he will make a decision after the season is over.
That’s a good point. I guess this is just the way it’s done. Still don’t like it, but them forcing his hand makes it easier to understand.
I know I’ll get crucified for this, but don’t Coaches always tell players they shouldn’t quit? Why is it good for Coaches to quit on their teams before the season ends? Kelly did the same thing to Notre Dame, and it sucked then, and it sucks now. Finish the season and then do what you want, but quitting on your team to go to a rival before the season is over is bad form, and is a sign of low character.

If that’s the way this goes down, it’s going to be a bad omen.

Bombs away!!!

My Ole Miss observations

Take it for what it’s worth, which probably isn’t much.

Chambliss is really good. He is a good passer, and a very good runner. He gets out of the pocket quickly, and when he decides to run, he’s very decisive and kicks into another gear.

Their D Line is not good. They have good edges, but their interior D Line gets pushed around, and they look slow. If LSU can’t run on them, they won’t be able to run on anyone. Their secondary leaves a lot of open spots downfield.

In order for Ole Miss to win, they are going to have to have a Jayden Daniels like performance from Chambliss. If our offense can control the clock and win the field position battle, I feel really good about this game.

Ole Miss has a really good field goal kicker. Keeping them out of FG range will be important. I feel like Zavion is due to return a punt for a TD, so I’m going to go ahead and call it. I think the LSU offense will execute well this week, and we win 35-17.
