Trump is pretty adamant that any intervention will involve as little exposure as possible to US forces - much like the Venezuela operation - which involved only Delta and air assets that were not targetable by S300 systems.

Black ops supported by precision air strikes and followed by a swift, home rule transition, and limited humanitarian relief effort are likely what's on the table.

I wish nothing but death and dismemberment for the Islamic fundamentalists doing this killing, but that may be a while.

I hate this but there must be a transition plan in place before intervention, and it has to be timed so the IRGC doesn’t have the upper hand when they are removed. If you don’t have a strongman ready to govern, (not just posting propaganda on X) failure will be epic.
