re: What are your big 2026 financial goals?

Sell most of my rentals. Reducing life stress and improving my health. I'm on a health mission this year.

How old are you?
re: What are your tips to maintain energy throughout the day?
Posted by Billy Blanks on 1/16/26 at 10:32 am to RickAstley
1. Sleeping before 10pm, a must for me anyway.
2. Eat and drink water prior to any coffee. Coffee about 30 minutes after breakfast or with breakfast.

re: Struggling to get all of my protein
Posted by Billy Blanks on 1/16/26 at 10:30 am to Boss
Increase the chicken.
I do Sola Everything bagel (tons of fiber, lots of protein) with 2 eggs, 2 turkey sausage, 1 slice of munster cheese. 40 grams
3 chicken breasts for lunch. 55-60
1 premier protein shake at some point- 30 grams.
Dinner- protein and fiber based. Doesn't have to be all that heavy. Easily clears 160.

Invest. I am curious to know about the posters who say pay it off, if they currently own rental property? It's just a curiosity without condemnation. I like learning how people make decisions about money.
I have rentals, but this isn't a rental. I wouldn't if it was a rental. Second home kinda thing, not STR is allowed where it is.
Pay off small condo or invest?

Payoff is 100k, it's a second home getaway kinda deal.
Rate is high, 7.85%

This means we're losing Scott. :rotflmao:

Health/exercise/diet:
Is this not something they learned? My in laws thinks my wife works out to lose weight.
She's a healthy weight and lifts to maintain body/muscle and it's good for her mental health.
Another example, we're convinced they don't understand that liquids have calories. Stuff like that just blows our mind.
Her mother will have an upset stomach and wants to eat yogurt and drink orange juice for breakfast and we're sitting there saying "those items aren't good to have with an upset stomach."
They'd also take another pill before every attempting to make a lifestyle change.
Has anyone experienced similar situations with their aging parents?
Dining out at chain restaurants.
They love shitty chain restaurants when they do dine out. Of all the places in the world out there that are excellent but they'll go to a Red Lobster or places like that.

Loved that Frank called him out. Hopefully it strikes a cord. Also shocked how much he's helped. I figured the car business hasn't been great of late.

I thought Nudie was out of line for calling him out on X but now I'm siding with Nudie. He basically said he only cares about himself then deleted it. This was last year.
