2001 Alabama’s homecoming game and Josh Reed set SEC records for catches and yards in a game with 19 for 293 in the victory.

Rohan Davey completed 35-of-44 throws to set an LSU single-game passing record with 528 passing yards. His 540 total yards tied an SEC record set by former Ole Miss quarterback Archie Manning.

"They cannot stop Josh Reed," said CBS announcer Verne Lundquist during the game's telecast.

The average university has 20 varsity sports . Stanford has 36 which is second to only Ohio State at 37 and the Ivy Leagues who don’t offer scholarships.

LSU only has 14 Varsity sports . LSU is definitely at a numbers disadvantage but that is LSU’s problem . I can make an argument they are highly successful currently in the major sports but men’s basketball however there are 24 sports the NCAA oversees and as many as 37 recognized varsity sports .

Stanford consistently wins the Directors Cup , Stanford and Florida are the only schools to finish ranked within the top 10 every season. Stanford has never finished outside the top two.

Link? twitter? No one else is saying this but Cauble (no clarifications or link yet he said that) , yeah I cal BS. Charles hanagriff who is the utmost insider doesn’t know and says it’s a guess. It’s a guess , he could guess right but no one has confirmed shite and no reliable reporter claims to know who is starting . I doubt jay even knows 100% now who is starting.

People talk about best athletes ever at LSU, to me one of the best true Athletes ever is Chad Jones who was an all SEC safety that goes to pros. Also pitches and closes for championship CWS baseball team with sub 2 era and also batted with a bating average over 330 in the midst of spring training at football. Just one of these would be ridiculous and he did all three.
