Have you listened to Bari Weiss talk about Israel or its Middle East neighbors? There is no balance there.

Yeah, it would be great if Deegan got a beef going with Anderson, would be so much fun to watch.
Speaking of Jason Anderson, that World Supercross race he had with Joey Savatgy a few weeks ago was wild! If you have not seen it you should look it up on YouTube. They passed back and forth and got more and more aggressive, great racing and heavy banging….

Deegan is fast, but he is reckless and inconsistent. He is head and shoulders above the other 250 west riders in terms of speed on the track. However he has earned a reputation as a dirty rider, anyone that watched him try to put takeout moves on Jo Shimoda last year would objectively state that Deegan will crash opponents in order to win races.
I am guessing your question is aimed at the 450 class, and I have not seen info from Yamaha definitely stating that Deegan will be riding 450s when he does not have a 250 west race….
If he does ride 450s and uses his “aggressive” tactics on experienced 450 riders like Anderson, Tomac, Webb, etc….then one of those riders will plant him in the track.

re: Convince me a Players Union and CBA isn't coming to college football?
Posted by FlyDownTheField83 on 1/7/26 at 6:30 pm to Lsuhoohoo
No way there is CBA put together to “fix” the current state of college football. You would have to have a disaffected group of employees that are willing to band together and go through an arduous process to put a union in place in an environment that has many opponents to that unionization.
The players would have to be that disaffected group, and currently there are many selfish players and agents pulling in different directions. There are some players making a lot of money now that do not want things to change, there are other players that are happy with getting just a small amount of money now, and the employment life span of these employees is very short (approximately 4 years) so keeping this group organized and focused on unionization for an uncertain result is not going to happen.
Furthermore there are many opponents to unionization of the players because that would be a further threat/complication related to their income that is in the billions of dollars: TV networks, universities, athletic departments, coaches, etc…
Finally, it is laughable to me based on my experience in this area that people think a CBA and a union would “solve” the problems in college football. Unions main aim is to promote income for the union, and a secondary aim is to get things (mainly money) for their members. Unions promote disharmony, mistrust and acrimony so that they can use these as leverage to negotiate more money for Unions/members.
If by some miracle there was a significant union put in place for some significant amount of college football players , then mark my words, some games or entire seasons would be cancelled due to strikes, unhappy employees, etc…. (But really to extort more money from universities). IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?
If you want college football games cancelled then keep talking up a CBA as a “solution”.

Odds that I saw posted on one betting site:
Sexton +200
Roczen +300
Tomac +450
H Lawrence +600
Webb +1200
These look off to me, Tomac beat Roczen head to head in Vancouver a few weeks ago on his new ride with KTM, Webb is the defending champ and he clearly got in Sexton’s head last year,…..

Funny, I laughed.
However, I actually think DeBoer is a decent coach and I think he has handled a tough situation pretty well.

I am happy for Robbie Ashford, and wish him well.
However, we he threw that interception in the second half, WF up by double digits, and MSU got the lead down to three points,…..I began to have flashbacks….

Sorry to disappoint you, I was pointing out the terrible officiating in the CFP game between Ole Miss and Georgia.
I think it was the SEC office that fired the crew that officiated the Auburn Georgia game; so you can talk to them about “melting”.
I will also offer my congratulations to Georgia and its fans on a great season.

In a thread to celebrate a great college football game we have butt hurt Georgia fans looking for someone to complain about….
PS - I do not blame you, that would be a tough game to lose, Georgia players showed a lot of heart as well.

I do not believe they will do anything to help the average American,….ever.
It is just a part of the Weiss takeover of CBS so they can pitch more pro-Israel dishonesty and then claim it is part of this change to “more truthful” reporting.
Just a shift in what propaganda they are going to put out, still lies and liars.

It was a great game, and it had everything you want in a college football game:
- terrible officiating with some calls clearly favoring one team (UGA)
- some bad coaching and some smart coaching at various times
- both QBs played their hearts out and did all they could to get their team a Win
- wild swings in the game as one team would go on a run then the other would match it
- in the end the Ole Miss players’ resolve got them a Sugar Bowl win
Congratulations Ole Miss!

This is the kind of crap that negative recruiters love to use to show how “Auburn fans” treat players. Take a few phrases from all these posts and ask do you want to play for these fans:
- didn’t do shite
- just leave
- you aren’t being paid to talk
- shut the frick up and leave
There are selfish players, sure,……but how does it help us now to dump on them as they head out the door.?
The best way we can help Golesh and the players that stay is to get behind them and say Auburn is a great place to play,…..WDE.

Find a post by me that says the contracts were a year,….you will not be able to because it does not exist.
All of your knowledge comes from the GA/Mizzou story, so just admit you have zero, none, nada information on a single contract or anything written for Auburn players.

CFB needs a players union and real, enforceable contracts
Ridiculous. The real problem is weak leadership, no Union has ever solved a leadership problem of management,…….ever. In fact, all the Unions do is exploit and extract more money from weak leadership using similar extortion tactics.
In reality we have numerous examples of weak leaders, coaches like Saban that choose to quit instead of standing up to the players that choose to use these extortion tactics.

Give it a break. Just because these players are looking at their options to see what is best for them you paint them all with a broad brush as being spoiled.
How about a little reflection on ourselves and what we should do now to make things better? Maybe it is good to let players from the last regime go do what they think is best for them, and wish them well. Maybe the process of treatment of college football players is not like it was when Kerryon Johnson, Aundray Bruce, Kenny Irons, (all great AU players), and others played.

I agree people should abide by the terms of written agreements they have signed.
You said, “ …so they need to own up to the contract that they signed.”
You imply that you have knowledge of these terms that would invalidate my responses. In order to lend some credibility to your points just supply the written terms you are aware of.

Great post, the problem is not that players are selfish and ungrateful. I always wonder how all these posters that lay out the “rules” they want players to live by would feel if this applied to themselves:
- You cannot leave a paid position for another paid position for 2 to 4 years
- You must be loyal and and complimentary to an employer even if they are poorly managed
- You must accept lower compensation than the market says you have earned
I wish the best to Cam Coleman, Deuce, and every other player that leaves, and I do not blame them at all.

While you are making some reasonable observations it is notable that you are an Alabama fan.
Here are some statistics for you:
Bama fan posts on this thread - 17 - 44.3%
Auburn fan posts on this thread - 10 - 26.3%
Georgia fan posts on this thread - 3 - 7.9%
Florida fan posts on this thread - 3 - 7.9%
Arkansas fan posts on this thread - 1 - 2.6%
Oklahoma fan posts on this thread - 1 - 2.6%
MSU fan posts on this thread - 1 - 2.6%
Troy fan posts on this thread - 1 - 2.6%
Texas fan posts on this thread - 1 - 2.6%
Interesting that Gumps have their team in the CFP, but cannot stop thinking about Auburn.

Always trolling, but such a stupid take.
Social Security if left to stand alone separate from the other mismanaged US government financial disasters would be fine.
Why didn’t you propose stopping all aid to foreign countries from the US?
