The Walton Empire was started here and they should give back. Its a shame and some local small money has called them out on radio. They couild fund the football program and it would be me spending a buck. SHame on them.
As far as talent drop goes its almost unexplanable. Not that many kids are top level basketball players. From 95 to 08 Arkansas put out some serious SEC level talent. After the 08 class things went down hill quickly.
Little Rock and LR Central in particular is the main drop. But we had top level runnign backs seems every year for 20 yrs then boom. Nothing. It used to be who is next . I blame it on M Dyer and Malzahn. They jinxed us.

And the only sustained success we have had in the SEC our coach averaged 7.5 wins per year in mostly 11 game seasons. Played in two SEC champ games. Had us in top 10 4 yrs. 8 bowls in 10 years. Doak Walker winners.

What sport would the college team be most successful in.
I would say football would get distroyed. Just becausee of the physicallity as someone said.
Baseball might be the answer because you could have a Skeens type pitcher? Or could you have run Acuff, Dybantsa, Peterson, Pete and Boozer out there and compete?
