re: Opinion on stocks in Roth account

Not saying your point was wrong, just presenting a different perspective.
Appreciate the perspective. I'm really not planning on keeping every stock for another 30 years. I do make changes from time to time:). I have plenty in index funds and have made 30-40% in those in the past year. In the same time period I've gained 600% in Nebius and 500+% in HGRAF just to name a couple of wins, so there's money to be made in both scenarios.
Glad I didn't sell most of these stocks as they are up close to 30% on average in the past week or so.

Yep, we've believed this for a long time now. That doctor has great information that he gives on a regular basis.
Appreciate your constructive criticism! I do have larger amounts invested in bigger stocks and ETF's. Guess my thinking was if I can get a 10-bagger out of one or more of these stocks, it'll more than offset losses in a number of others. I've also sold some profits earlier on with a few of these stocks, so just trying to decide what to do on the remaining balances in some of these. Again, thanks for all the input!

Thanks, BB, for the advice on these! Got a good number of winners, but some have gone up so much that I hate to get too lopsided but would probably want to let them run if possible. Not counting ETF's, have done really well with NBIS, HGRAF, and to a lesser extent UUUU, AMPX, APLD, ASTS, NVDA, HOOD, VIAV, DOCN, SLS, SLI, WDC, HLIO, AMKR, UAMY, NVTS, LLY, PLTR, & TSLA.
Opinion on stocks in Roth account

I value this board's knowledge and would like any input on some of these stocks I've got in my ROTH account that have dropped anywhere from 15-50% since I purchased them. I don't have but a few hundred in most of these so just wondering if anyone has an opinion on one or more of these as to whether I should add more shares on some of these, leave them alone for the rest of the year to see if they recover, or sell a few of these....much appreciated.

All three of mine were homeschooled all 12 grades by master teachers on DVD, scored around 30 on their ACT's, and are now either attending college or already graduated. All accomplished on a one-person income, so it can be done, people.

My average is $74 but I had a buy at 131 in october. Nice to see it green.
Yep, currently up 470%+ on this one....just wish I had it in my Roth vs. regular account.
If they win the mid-terms you can wait for the never-ending push for this for Trump's last years in office.

Unfortunately, unless we put boots on the ground the powers that be in Iran aren't going to fully surrender. In light of that, I don't believe America as a whole has the stomach for a full-scale invasion where we would suffer a number of casualties. Keep in mind that Iran is a country that when fighting Iraq a few years back, had a "martyrdom" brigade where they would send those troops into a minefield to clear it ahead of tanks. They don't value human life, so unless you're going to kill the vast majorities of these animal types, they're not going to value their own people's suffering or lives as we've already seen with the thousands they've killed recently.
Sorry, Tucker, but if you look at events in the bible, you can see that God's people did mock FALSE religions. Check out the account of Elijah on Mt. Carmel mocking the heathen religion of Jezebel who were chanting and cutting themselves for hours to get their false god to burn up their sacrifice. Elijah ridiculed them all the while and when they were worn out and had received no answer from their god, Elijah had multiple barrels of water poured over the sacrifice and called down fire from the one and only true God which burnt the sacrifice, the stones, and even the water.

Sounds a little strange since the highest I've been seeing is right at 4%. Just make sure it's FDIC insured.
Wow, yeah, let's tear down a mural for an innocent young murdered girl, but don't touch that thug Floyd mural. :spank:

If you hate money, just venmo it to me baw.
Surely you don't think money should be the top priority for everyone? What good is having money if your country is taken over by a terrorist jihadis?

Crazy percentages that some never realize since the % of loss is figured on a larger starting amount.
If a position drops 10% it takes an 11% increase to get back to what it was.
If a position drops 20% it takes a 25% increase.......
If a position drops 30% it takes a 42% increase.....
If a position drops 40% it takes a 67% increase.....
If a position drops 50% it takes a 100% increase...!!!

Figures were based on 52-week-highs of 50,512 on DJIA, 24, 019 on Nasdaq, and 7,002 on S & P. Just take the difference from high to now and divide by the high, or difference divided by original for % of decrease or increase.

If you're going to use the first numbers showing declines from the ATH's at the time, you should use the same thing here. Curretnly as of 12:30 CST, the Nasdaq is down 12.5%, the DJIA is down 10%, and S&P is down 8.5% from ATH.

That's a powerful jet of water there, LOL.
Jury is still out on side effects of all these GLP-1 injections......reports of some having intestinal paralysis, etc. which may be irreversible. Most short-cuts in life come with side effects. It's always scary when it seems half the people you come into contact with these days are on GLP-1 injections. My neighbor died within a year after having started Mounjaro for diabetes & weight loss.
