I only lumped North Texas and Houston in for grins.

Why? Playing devil’s advocate here:

Designated research institutions in Texas are:

Baylor College of Medicine
Baylor University
Rice University
Southern Methodist University
Texas A&M University
Texas Tech University
The University of Texas at Arlington
The University of Texas at Austin
The University of Texas at Dallas
The University of Texas at El Paso
The University of Texas at San Antonio
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio
University of Houston
University of North Texas
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center

Largest by enrollment:
Texas A&M. 76,633
UT Austin 53,082
UNT. 47,507
University of Houston. 46,676

There is very little difference between UTA, UNT, and UH. All have similar enrollment numbers and all are designated research institutions. So, why shouldn’t they be treated equally in regards to PUF?

I am sick and tired of these "committed" players looking at other programs!

Commitment means nothing to these kids.

Committed players need to stay committed!

Except when it benefits us, right?
Although, part of me agrees with the sentiment

watch. They seemingly only threw maybe 15 times this whole game

Lets you know that he’s not afraid and is able to block. Also shows you his route running ability, speed coming out of breaks, etc.

In that type of offense, the only ways to really judge his hands, high point ability and strength at the point of catch are in 7 v 7 or camp situations
Even though Shaq has said that he won’t give any money for NIL, I bet he would be (if asked) willing to fund the buyout. I’m sure that might come with some caveats and promises from both sides.
He is tired and embarrassed by the state of the program and he loves LSU more than most fans. He’s the top promoter and ambassador, supporting LSU in every way possible. Yes, he does give money behind the scenes.
And Alabama will still somehow end up with more wins than LSU. Thanks McMahon!
I wonder that too. Used to be that all those schools basically recruited (even though it was illegal) from their competition. I guess they got away from it after Shows left? Now, with all the new Academies, Lab schools, charter schools, Saint this and Saint that, that can recruit (I’m not sure which, if any of those, fit in as public schools), public schools are left out.

Just guessing here
Neither does Evangel. I couldn’t have imagined that 10 years ago.
BTW, what is Thrive Academy? That’s one I’ve never heard
You get it. It’s especially important for those kids that don’t camp for whatever reason or do the 7 v 7 circuit. Some are late bloomers, etc

anything beyond 50 is probably a waste of time

Not really. Some of those players are what are usually referred to as “under the radar “ or “underrated.”
Also, he does it for readers who follow the high schools, the smaller in state schools, and most importantly, to get attention on kids who might otherwise not get the exposure they need or deserve

If he’ll come, that’s the move. Whether you liked him or his teams, he always brought energy and excitement. Even in down years, that’s what matters. Teams and coaches that seem to care and have energy are what has been missing.
Well, I did say typically. Maybe I should have said historically
I hope he’s mid season interviewing candidates
When you gonna update? And don’t forget to add Seaton
