She is far from the loudest voices of the movement. That goes to people like Greg Gutfeld who have been on this issue from day ONE.
She had a family member who is transgender and has readily admitted that her judgement was clouded. She has focused on the transgender sickness WAY more than Gutfeld (who I also adore).
Perhaps welcoming people in who were wrong, admitted they were wrong, & fight the good fight is the best way to move forward. Unfortunately. we cannot all be like you and have made zero bad decisions or taken the wrong view point at one point in our lives.

Some of you people are the absolute WORST!!! She has readily admitted that she was wrong about the trans issue numerous times & is probably one of the loudest voices out there against th entire movement now. Furthermore, she is a HUGE supporter of Trump but she also isn't a sheeple. There are still those of us out there that have independent brains and are gonna disagree with your lord & savior from time to time. Having a voice like Megyn has pulled some of the 'wine moms' y'all love to b*tch about to our side so maybe take it down a notch and quit acting like a lobotomized democrat every time someone disagrees with Trump.

This decision was just utterly bizarre to me. She's famous for being extremely private & publications like VF have proven over and over they aren't gonna be honest. Of all the unforced errors, this is a nothingburger but it was still very poor decision making.

It was pretty good for a network tv show. The first season with Connie Britton was very good! It's gotten exceedingly dumber every year. Making Buck gay was ALMOST my breaking point. And not even for the reasons you think. It was just a dumb storyline on a character who was the most heterosexual dude ever then BAM! He's gay. I saw the season premiere teaser for this year and it finally got too stupid for me to even bother. They literally sent Angela Bassett to space.

I do genetic testing so I can speak to part of it. Until VERY recently, genetic testing was too expensive for almost anyone to have access to it. Furthermore, the only way to determine if a variant is pathogenic or benign is to have a lot of data. So until about 15 years ago, we had little testing and little data. Now it's extremely affordable & most companies don't bill Medicaid patients. The better genetics labs submit their data to an international database that helps us to determine with greater precision if a variant is pathogenic. Chromosomal microarrays, neurodevelopmental panels, & whole exomes have given a diagnosis that just simple wasn't available not very long ago.
I will also add that the term autism is a very broad generalization that covers a plethora of neurodevelopmental disorders. As a kid of the 90's, I remember having the 'special ed' kids in my school. You didn't really know what was wrong with them , only that they were off. They got clumped together which in retrospect was a major disservice as we now have a better understanding of the disorder. Individual education plans specific to the child's defect can provide a world of positive change that we just didn't understand until recently. And quite honestly, we have a lot left to learn.
Are there environmental components? 100%. But the amount of genetic testing done now is astronomical compared to even just 10-15 years ago.
