Definitely not! Anyone that went to McNeese in the early 2000's could have a similar story. Also, have to include mainly Darrell's in the story. OB's as well
I don't want to say to much but I just caught wind of this story. I'm not sure how long this trial has been going on but she hasn't aged well. If you want these pictures you would have loved the pictures a maybe a couple videos from around 2003 in college.I started dating my Ex and thought I should probably delete them when it started getting serious. But I had plenty of wild nights with her in college but I was welcome at apartment anytime. She was really in shape and from those pictures I dont think she had surgery, they look smaller. They were huge in college. We were together for one reason and didnt have many conversations without me being full of whiskey. But this really blew my mind, I would've never thought this was something she would do. But i havent seen her since around 2007. If I remember right I think her family owned that four wheeler shop on the right when entering Deridder.

I'm going to have make some calls to find out everything. I actually know some people that has to know more. And reading who is involved in the case i might know several of them, Ive said enough, if you see the pictures just picture what she looked like at 20-21yrs old. I just cant imagine her kids being able to look at her the same. I cant imagine having to look at my son and explain why i chose to ruin our family and apologizing why i ruined his life

No Kidding man. It’s sounds like nobody even watched the game yesterday. His decision to spend the last two off-seasons. They’ve help him tighten up his pitches and added a cutter. You could see that yesterday in the command he had in his change up and slider which he’s never had confidence throwing in certain situations. Now that he is finally 100% healthy since his back injury in HS he could have a huge season.

Just getting back on the mound was a big step, but even watching him throw and seeing how much better he looked. I didn’t know he would look like that. But it doesn’t surprise me… he lives for those moments and loves the pressure. I’m happy for him.

He’s spent the last two off-seasons at Drive Line in Arizona. They have made him a different player. They worked with him adding an extra pitch.
The worked mostly on tightening up what he already had. Mainly control and movement. You could see that yesterday with his change up and slider. His slider had a sharper break and was tight. His change up was great. His freshman year he didn’t have a lot of confidence throwing those. He knew he wasn’t going to be able to rely on just his fastball and curveball.

He said he is confident throwing all 5 pitches for a strike in any count. He has waited 2 years to get back on the mound and he wasn’t going to make the most of it. He lives for those moments and loves the pressure.

He is one of the most competitive players I’ve known. But like someone else said he just as good in the dugout. He has always been a leader but it’s something hard to find. Everyone around him feeds off his energy and knows when to speak up even when he was hurt, the dugout fed off him.

He’s been that way since his sophomore year at Barbe on a stacked team and keeps growing.

Also,

I don’t think many people realize this his first season since he was a junior in high school he’s 100% healthy. His lower back issues were really complicated. His images came back positive not long after the CWS last year. His freshman year he looked amazing while fighting his back pain…reason Jay only let him go one inning. Except in the CWS when Jay had him close several games because he wasn’t feeling anything with the amount of adrenaline he had.

I’m not sure if what game would be higher high leverage than coming in to close both games against Florida to win the CWS as a true freshman. He lives for those games, the most competitive kids I’ve known. Even better leader.

If you would have read my post i even stated he will not have a single incision. i said it was minimally invasive procedures. He clearly not getting cut on the night before they travel. I thought you would be able to come to that conclusion all by yourself. I think anyone that played sports was pretty sure they knew what i was talking about thats been injured during a season.

So what made you think he having back surgery then travel the following day and then possibly pitch after going under the knife. Since you are struggling to understand what i said, he was getting an injection very similar to an epidural and at least one injection possibly another one that put very strong medicine that would coat his discs. So he had two possibly three injections. One was more of an epidural. i really hope that helped you understand a little better. Did you honestly think he was having surgery the night before he traveled with a chance he could pitch 2 days after back surgery? Also it was last night. I dont know how to feel that you actually typed that

I know your familiar with Barbe and Gavin. You have been spot on with Gavin's injury and his previous issues going back to his freshman year in high school. I don't know this Boosie actor but you've read my post. Tell this jackass i wouldn't know his history if we didn't know each other. I believe i was to tell everyone asking if he just doesn't play summer ball that Jay sent him to driveline to focus on pitching

What the frick are you talking about. Are you dumb or just cant read. what have i flip flopped on. We are with his family all the time. He treats my son like his little brother. Everything I've said except going to a smaller school next year, which i admitted i was wrong has come directly from our my phone call with Gavin yesterday or directly from his parents. My cousin coaches at Barbe and also very close with the family. he coached Gavin's sister on his travel volleyball team. He's very close to Gary, their dad

Go frick yourself! Read what I've posted and you can find everything i have said. You can even find multiple pictures of our families together and alot of my son with Gavin at Barbe working out. I'm not about to give your dumbass a picture of my son or myself

i said as much as i could last night in i think this thread. The had to get the meds approved by the SEC offices which they did with a lot of discussion. Both meds were really close to being on the banned list

I miss spoke last night. Gavin has said he wants to pitch because hitting is way to hard. He loves LSU and I don’t see him leaving LSU for any reason.
Even though he had a couple nice NIL deals. But he’s not leaving, I just hope what they did last night isn’t just a quick fix for the season and doesn’t cause long term problems or it to continue to linger around

I think I can say the stem cells and cortisone injections is like taking baby aspirin to what he getting. Nothing illegal, but very close. It’s already been authorized by the SEC. He isn’t considering redshirting, unless Jay gets through to him. But I don’t think him or his family is going to be fine with a redshirt. He willl probably go to one of the 7schools that gaurateed him he would start at SS Day1 and be the closer for them. He’s ready to play, he didn’t pass up $2,875,000 to go pro not to play. He’s a special kid and every coach that’s spent time with him said he’s one of the greatest leaders they’ve seen. He’s special and he’ll do anything within the rules to get on the field
His parents were at my house for dinner tonight. Gary stayed on the phone at least 3 hours talking to his medical staff and coaches. Some options being discussed, minimally invasive treatment. That’s as far as I’ll go, I can’t say anything else about the procedure.

Yes, if all goes accordingly I definitely think he goes this weekend!! The procedures are very simple that he want even an encision. He might even throw a pen in the morning. I doubt he even thinks about his back! The right medicine will fix anything.

I don’t know why his dad would make that up and why he would make that up while we were talking on the phone. That would seem pretty stupid to make up after all the eyes on him.

If you want, read my post on the thread with the two twitter links. It was on the second page. After his family told me a few options on the table before they left. I am getting more comfident by the minute and if everything on the table is done tonight I would be willing to bet a few grand he pitches this weekend. My cousin who coaches at barbe is with him right now and it sounds better by the minute. But anything can happen even iwith minor procedures

He wasn’t able to hit his benchmarks mid day but they would try again tonight. His family just left about an hour ago after frying shrimp and some Cappie. He was not close to hitting his benchmarks. I am not speaking about what opinions are being discussed but it’s very possible he wakes up ready to pitch his arse off this weekend and his back will allow him to hit every benchmark and not much will be mentioned about the back issues.

Me neither, I stay across the bridge in Westlake but have my apartment in Houston. Son plays baseball at Summer Creek. 6a School with 6200 kids. Have 3 teams and had 97 players at tryouts crazy. Will Hill is our CF headed to Texas next year. Last year our LF went to Texas. Casen Evans is beat us in the playoffs last year. Cade beat us by himself last year att Tomball. Caleb Alexander is the #3 SS in Texas and only a sophomore plus he pitches 98mph with 3 secondary pitches. We have another 6’8” sophomore who throws 99mph then we a freshman pitcher who is the #3 rated freshman pitcher in Texas

it very similar to his issues at Barbe. I might know you with all you know with Barbe and you seem to be spot with Gavin. I was with his Dad and Grandpa last night and was told his back is more severe. Herniated disk and a bulging disk. We are distant family and he tried his best to sound positive but I know him to well to know it was an act. My cousin coaches at Barbe

I mentioned in one of the summer ball stat threads a while back that Gavin was in pitching program in Arizona most of the summer. Asked to really focus on a few things with some very positive rewards if he put in the work and showed he could handle business. Told he would he would have an opportunity to take a weekend spot that was up for grabs and would be given plenty of looks. He obviously worked hard over the summer and the coaches seem to be giving him the looks he was told he would get.

Guidry has been in Arizona this summer. He’s been in a pitching program all Summer. Advised to attend program. Might have been told he could be a weekend starter. Look for him to get serious looks in the fall.

Gavin Guidry moved to LC when he was 11. Brody Drost transferred legally and sat out his freshman year to be eligible. Both moved because they wanted to play at Barbe and were not interested in being a part of the politics is SHS.
Also to be fair, both were actually recruited but not by Barbe! They were both called by another high school coach multiple times over multiple weeks to transfer to their school because things were tough at Barbe.

Without going to far, the last part of your post about only being contacted by the coach your talking about is 100% false. Every coach around knew he headed to Barbe.

Last thing, Barbe is a money pit. They have the top technology and the facilities are better than some colleges. Equipment that will read every move you make. I’ve been lucky enough to have been there numerous times with Gavin and my son who is blown away to be workout with him. Gavin is really special and never fails to bring my son whenever we are both in town. My son is 14 and has worked with him before and after he blew up and hasn’t changed a bit. He sneaks into town more than people know and my son just got to toss with Gavin and Paxton when he invited him to his family’s house for the holiday since he couldn’t go back to Pennsylvania.
