I run a small business. My bank (and every other local bank) stopped receiving shipments of pennies months ago. I stocked up on as many as they would let me get when this happened so as not to inconvenience my customers.

So now that I'm out, what the frick do you expect me to do about it? You may deal with a few transactions a month where you might be shorted a few cents. I'm faced with hundreds per day. That adds up a lot quicker for me in one month than it ever will for you in your entire life.

Use a credit/debit card or quit being a bitch.

I live in a somewhat rural area. About 20 years ago, a guy owned one behind my house. He sold it and opened up a tobacco shop across the street bc he only made money off selling cigarettes.

This was not a “nice” gas station though and this was when my county was still dry. I’d imagine the nicer ones selling alcohol probably do well. But idk that they really make much off the actual gas. Mostly off the “convenience” part of it being a convenience store.

And you’ve had 28 hours to analyze and think about it from a dozen different vantage points. That cop had about half a second. Where everyone scrutinizing him wanted him to look at the driver to make sure she saw him, yet also look at her tires (which were still pointed to the left when she put the car in drive), assess the heaviness of her foot on the gas (which was hard enough to make the tires spin), and determine if she was driving at him or trying to drive around him, all while he was still in front of the vehicle, trying to get out of the way…

This is akin to people saying “police shouldn’t chase speeders and those that flee from cops.” It’s completely asinine. Eventually someone else will get hurt. Someone that is TRULY innocent. Due to the illegal and dumbfounded actions of those that we just “let go” for the hell of it. She broke the law, in multiple ways. And while the outcome was tragic, it was because of HER actions that she is where she is now.

She disobeyed a lawful order to exit the vehicle (fleeing is a felony btw, at least in my state), then proceeded to look at an officer in front of her while putting her car in drive, hit the gas hard enough to spin the tires, forcefully and aggressively advancing her vehicle in the direction of said officer. Those are 100% facts.

A vehicle is, has, and can be used as a deadly weapon. Remember New Orleans around new years last year? (I’m sure you teabagged the terrorist there too) Or the arse hole in NYC with the U-Haul? All these people have one thing in common. They are deranged lunatics that hate this country and those who strive to protect it. Honestly, not unlike yourself.

Yeah. Going back and watching it again, it appears he transfers the phone to his left hand after the walk around. I had just assumed he went back to his vehicle to set it down and that it was all body cam footage.
