Yeh I expect they will be cancelled shortly. It’s just not worth it.
Looks like Lando got a raise.

I think Imola is first in line as far as reserve/emergency tracks.
Portimao in Portugal last hosted during Covid
Nurburgring or Hockenheim in Germany
The race before Bahrain is Suzuka, teams prolly don’t want to spend another two weeks in Asia but they could stay and race the Fuji Speedway.
Jerez in Spain but they already have two races in Spain this year.
Turkey, India, Thailand would probably be logistical nightmares this short notice.

The hits keep coming for Aston Martin. Are they gonna have any fuel for the car?

I’ve had and enjoyed apple+ for a couple years now so this change doesn’t really affect me as long as they continue to show the races commercial free. I think they are offering a 7 day free trial for the first week of the season.

Scary crash in super formula testing. Car hydroplanes, spins, hits the barrier, and then flips over the fence to the outside of the track. Driver is ok. Luke Browning
It doesn’t show up for me in Japanese, not sure why it does when I link it.

The logos do make it look cooler, thanks again.
“I don’t want to, for a single second, talk badly about the ESPN relationship because they were the first to believe in us. I need to thank them and as you know, with Disney World, the collaboration is huge in the area of licensing and other things that we are doing together.”
“But I do believe that the reach that we're going to have through the streaming platform, through Apple, will be even bigger in the future and it is what we want to test in a market that is more mature than the others.”

As a Cadillac fan I’m starting to buy into the hype that Ferrari have built a strong reliable engine.
I hope they’ve built a car that Charles and Lewis can fight for a title in. Wondering how Ferrari will handle having 2 drivers at the front, or if their strategy will prevent them from getting to the front.

A small indie studio released a game called “Under the Island” last week that is throw back to “A Link to the Past” style games.
Starts a little slow and feels like it will be extremely easy but it steps up after the first dungeon.
The over world was fun to explore, dungeons and bosses were fun, had some interesting items that changed things up.
Combat is the only thing I had a problem with. Some enemies just take too much damage early on.
It scratched the itch for me, would give it a 7/10

I expect them to get back to their roots with a more linear game next outing whenever that is. They pushed the BoTW/ToTK formula far enough. I enjoyed playing them but have no desire to replay them anytime soon.

If tweet fails to load, click here. The reason is that some manufacturers were pushing for a ‘hot-only’ test in order to configure their power units to exceed the 16:1 limit when cold and then have them drop down to the regulation limit when up to operating temperature.
The cold and hot test would thwart that plan, essentially because the ‘compliant at all times’ part of the regulations originally used against Mercedes would, in this case, be used against those complaining.
The technical backdrop to this is that most power units (with the apparent exception of the Mercedes) loses compression ratio as it gains temperature.
A former power unit technical boss has explained to The Race that typically an engine with a 16:1 compression ratio when cold would drop to around 15.2-15.2:1 in operation because although the con rod expands, the block expands more.

James Vowles was asked about the innovative Ferrari rear wing. He said anything unusual you see in testing falls into two categories, either all the teams have thought about it and dismissed it, or they haven't - and within 24 hours the experts back at the factories will have produced data as to whether it is worth considering.
When pushed, he admitted this fell into the second category - so the rest of the teams will be hard at work tonight crunching some numbers to see if it is an idea that is worth pursuing.

Only problem I’ve seen from Audi could be fixed with some heat tape or a small heat shield.

Isn’t there a rule about teams not being allowed to participate if they are too slow?
