That bumper sticker should say
“Blow your whistle if you love ICE”
A crazy stat about Lewis Hamilton. This is skewed a bit because they have significantly more races every year now than in the past but still a crazy stat

We are back!

Mercedes engine trick might be more valuable than previously thought.
“ NEW: The real advantage of the Mercedes compression trick might be much bigger than 15 hp.

If their combustion engine is extremely efficient, they could use the extra fuel allowance to generate more electrical energy. That could keep the battery fully charged almost all the time a huge performance gain.”

Been some mixed messages about whether RedBull/Ford have done the same thing, this indicates they have.

I think Williams will be the team to watch this year. They worked on this car for all or most of last season. Paired with a Mercedes engine that is expected be hot, Williams could really move up the order if other teams arnt ready.

Loved this era of comedies, wish we still got some.

Mystery Men, Ready 2 Rumble, Rat Race, Saving Silverman, Whole Nine Yards
Why is Audi bad? I think Porsche would have made more sense but Audi seems to be doing things the right way. They haven’t rushed things and should be ready to go at the start of the season. Not sure about their two drivers tho.

I saw where Cadillac is designing as many parts for their car in house as possible instead of just buying everything from Ferrari. Might cause some growing pains early but should set them up for longer term success.
Whoever start the season thread usually spends some time on it. Includes tons of relevant info for the upcoming season.

Audi had their car on the track today.

I like it a lot. A two seater track car doing formula 1 track times is crazy. I read a while back that it was actually too aerodynamic. It was creating more down force than the tires could handle.

Wish I had an extra $6.5 mil for the base model.
Barbor looks like a fun event, I would like to go one year.

Does this money count against the salary cap? Are they doing this to cut down on silly protest or to prevent teams from protesting every race next season because of the engine thing?
Motorsport photo of the year. The safety of these cars is impressive.

I think there is probably a certain level of speculation going on, but the story about Mercedes finding a loop hole has been widely reported over the last week and Mercedes has done nothing to shoot it down.

Seemed like everyone involved had a reason to kill that guy. Everyone called Ted a liar tho ha

I was very disappointed this show didn’t get a second season. Loosely based on the story of King David, David vs Goliath. Had a solid cast. Ian McShane, Sebastian Stan, Brian Cox.

“A reported compromise would allow Mercedes-powered teams to race with a non-compliant engine, provided they return to compliance in 2027 — a solution other teams oppose.”
I don’t think every hive person on earth is constantly seeing thru every eye ball on Earth. Once she actually read the chapter then they all knew what was in it but the whole world didn’t pause to read it thru Zosia’s eyes. Would be sensory overload to constantly be seeing thru 7 billion sets of eyes.

I guess Audi really is making their own engines this year? Good for them going all in.

There was a rumor a while back that Porsche was quietly helping them with the engine. Not sure if it was true or just a click bait YouTube video. They are both owned by Volkswagen tho.
