This reeks of BS. I'd bet 100 bucks this is British Intel pushing this out. How do I know? Because it would be the prime story on every American media platform before it went international.

True. However, I've read multiple accounts about how our defense missiles system might be our biggest weakness we have. They need to spend a good amount of the budget figuring out how to improve it, vastly.
There's video out of this current campaign showing US missile defense missing on inbounds. More than a few.
Maybe we are putting that into a laser solution? If we have a discombobulater, surely we can improve the missile defense.
