When Florida State runs back the opening kickoff for a Touchdown

That won’t happen. FSU is terrible on special teams.

Daniels is a better passer. Richardson is more athletic

I hope you’re right. I just need to see him play in an LSU uniform before I get too excited.

stop starting threads until you have 5k posts

You must be a democrat. Trying to silence those who have differing opinions.
quote:

Daniels has proven so much more than AR. Who are you a fan of?

What has he proven? That he can be incredibly inconsistent and inaccurate? That he can throw for as many interceptions as TD’s in a season? I live in reality. Not some LSU fantasy world.
quote:

Who is he? IYO? Besides our starting QB?

An average to good college QB. That’s what he’s been for three years. All the sudden he puts on an LSU uniform and he becomes something better? FWIW, I think Richardson is an absolute stud. He’s a problem. UF without him would be a very average team.
quote:

Soon as Jayden Daniels is officially announced as starter.

Evidently he’s as good as Anthony Richardson. So, I wouldn’t worry about that.
quote:

He threw for 168 yards and no touchdowns. Josh Allen is the guy made in a lab, let’s pump the brakes a bit.

And Daniels isn’t either of those guys.
quote:

Wow. Anytime QB discussions happen on the rant, some truly retarded shite gets posted. Daniels is not as talented as Richardson?

Daniels isn’t as talented as Richardson. Simple as that.

quote:

From what I’ve seen, I think Daniels throws with better touch and has a better deep ball.

Oh, you’ve been watching Daniels a while have you? You’re judgment is being tainted by your homerism.
Richardson is a prototype made in a lab. Don’t get your hopes up for that out of Daniels.
When LSU is losing at halftime tonight.
I agree. This game will be an absolute dogfight. I think Norvel is actually a good coach who took over a complete shite-show of a football program. He had to tear it down to the studs and rebuild it. This is the year they expect to see a big jump. What if that’s the case? I’m going into this game expecting it to be decided late in the 4th.
I think FSU will rush for more yards than LSU and the reverse will be true for passing yards. It will be a close game.
quote:

FSU is notorious for not traveling.

Not accurate at all. Maybe you’re thinking of Miami.

With that said, the crowd will likely be 2/3 LSU fans. It will be the opposite next season in Orlando.
quote:

If it's true what was reported that their DL averaged 240 and their LBers 200ish then I'd say huge advantage us.

That definitely wasn’t true, no matter how many times the one guy posted it. Duquesne’s starting D-line is actually heavier than LSU’s. Obviously a completely different caliber of athlete.
quote:

If I were to pick LSU to go 8-4, those are the 4 losses I would predict.

I think LSU beats Tennessee at home. I think at UF or this FSU are just as likely, or more likely losses than Tennessee. UF will be tough because it’s in the Swamp and FSU is the first game. I expect this LSU to be better in October than it is right now.
I’m not sure how you could be upset with someone suggesting LSU will go over the Vegas over/under for win total for the season.
quote:

Probably no point in even playing out the rest of the games.

No doubt. Undefeated season!
I don’t think the Gators are very good. Probably a 6-6 team. Utah by double digits.
Well done. I thought it was funny.

Interesting how they try to rationalize things that any other fan will know just aren’t true. Makes you realize how we may do that in a sense. This was us for a month leading up to UCLA

Or LSU fans now. What do we really know about this team? We haven’t seen this team play yet. I think it’s going to be a good team, but it probably won’t be firing on all cylinders in game one. I think that gives FSU a chance. I’m envisioning a close game that LSU wins.
quote:

While we’re at it, I’m also unimpressed by 3 running backs runny for over 100 yards last week. You know they aren’t all NFL caliber backs, so it just proves anyone could do it against that squad

Nobody really gives a shite about what your impressed or unimpressed by, dick.

He will obviously defer and then onside kick.

That’s definitely what Scott Frost would do.

Make sense for FSU though. If you can just run it down the throat of your FCS opponent and not show anything, why would you do anything else?

Yep, and it was raining pretty hard for most of the game. They’ll have to throw it against LSU.

Jayden Daniels is what I’m hearing

I’m hearing that too….. from TRant.

I am interested to see if Cristobal handcuffs Van Dyke.

Good Lord, I hope so. Miami fans are the worst. It would be hilarious to watch them meltdown.

Florida State's offense is built around the running game. They will not deviate and will run it regardless of the score or down and distance. LSU needs to jump out to a big lead and continue to pour it on. This isn't to say that once behind FSU can't catch up, but it will take them longer to do so without a dynamic passing attack.

This is pretty spot-on. FSU wants to spread you out and create angles in the running game. It’s a Malzahn influenced system. When the right players are running it, it’s difficult to defend. Luckily for LSU, FSU isn’t super talented on offense.

Just a guy contributing to the board sharing info for people who didn’t feel like watching a boring game. If ya don’t like it that’s fine. Kiss my arse.

Don’t worry about it, BC. Some people just like being dicks for no reason.

I agreed with most of your assessments. FSU will need to be a lot for physical at the point of attack to have a chance against LSU. They also better hope their best CB, Cooper, is healthy for the game. He didn’t play yesterday and his replacements were sub-par. LSU’s WR’s will torch those guys.

You opened up a new account to start stupid thread.

Actually dipshit, this is the third thread I’ve started. Also, I know LSU fans will outnumber FSU fans. The question was to the extent. Lastly, I hope English isn’t your first language.
I’m not surprised FSU sold out their allotment. Their fanbase travels.
I think it will definitely be full. My guess would be about a 60/40 split.
