Spot on. The more we off shore the more we lose critical manufacturing capability. Everyday low prices have significantly impacted our manufacturing resources.

Growing up, the differences between the parties seemed more subtle. One party might champion national defense, another social programs. They differed on priorities but the gaps weren’t what we see today. Obama did a huge disservice to this country. Politics today has nothing to do with what’s best for the entire country. It’s about championing their own fringe causes and vendettas. Wouldn’t it be great if they put all that energy into improving the life of the average citizen first? It will never happen because it’s boring and they don’t get as many clicks on social media.
We need allies. But US has been doing the NATO heavy lifting for some time. US no longer has the financial resources to fund every operation.
There you go. If you have a uterus you are woman. Regardless how you want to identify or exterior alterations, you are born one or the other. It’s binary. How has this become so subjective?

This is ridiculous. They were elected and have a job to do. I wish I could decide not to attend meetings I don’t enjoy. They need to grow up. The democrat party has a similar mentality to a grade school student. Throw a fit, scream, hold their breath when they don’t get their way. Can’t reason with them because they are screaming and crying. Democrat leaders need to grow up and act like leaders. Their constituents are taking their cues from them. If you don’t agree with the current president, fine. Do something about it in a professional and productive manner.

Agreed. Love him or hate him he’s been a disruptor in Washington politics. That’s not a bad thing regardless of your politics. Throw a wrench into status quo and force folks to think, work for the people rather than showing up and collecting the perks.

At some point they have to do something about officials. Sec basketball is really hard to watch. Basketball in general isn’t as entertaining with all the stoppages.

Those opposing revealed their true colors. Has nothing to do with the voice of the people or national interest. Just want to further their financial interests and justify positions of power. Love or hate Trump, the shake up in Washington has been a wake up call for the politics as usual crowd.

I would be quite content if I never saw another news story with the word judge or lawyer in it. Do you have to get a court appointed order to take a crap in Washington? No wonder nothing is accomplished.
Removing the potential financial gains for some of those “hard working folks” in Washington, what’s the rationale for opposition? Makes no sense. More scrutiny buying cold medicine than voting. It makes no sense.
He walked into the White House with nothing and left a multi millionaire. Hmmm…. His biggest decisions today are whether to have lobster or crab for lunch. He’s bored sitting at home while the wife is out on tour complaining. Great example of smooth talking, no substance and baffle them with bullshite.
Dismantle the USOC. If they want to bitch, let them do it on their own dime. I’m sure we can find ways to use those funds.

Too much time on their hands to surf social media. Gainful employment is a great way to fill that time. EBT and social media isn’t a good combination.

Same. I don’t get it unless they have nothing to fill their day except social media. Working for your living takes up a lot of free time.

Agreed. I don’t understand that level of crazy. I suspect most of these folks have zero close friends that entered the country illegally. It’s all about opposing trump. Cable news continue to provide the fuel that feeds these folks.
CNN and several others do not attend these briefings to report news. They are there to create soundbites for their entertainment news shows. They walk into those briefings with marching orders, today’s script and their personal biases. So tired of opinion, editorial based reporting. Just report facts without bias or opinion. Ask questions without pushing an agenda. Media is doing a disservice to average citizen for purpose of ratings.

My question is what constitutes a journalist today? I wouldn’t consider recording something on your phone for insta, YouTube etc a journalist. Most folks in that “protest” could make that claim. Secondly, a true journalist should report without biases. Not sure anyone would accuse Don, Abby or most folks at CNN of being unbiased. They wear their politics own their sleeve.
I’m sure there are details I’m unaware of but being a citizen to vote seems reasonable. I doubt I could walk into most countries and cast a vote. The judicial system is failing us. It’s become too subjective and politically aligned. No wonder we can’t get anything done in this country. Too busy drowning in legal paperwork from judges who don’t agree with the politics.
