A majority of little girls in this country are white. A majority of the viewership of this movie will be white. The original story was written by a white man for for his white country. The animated movie made by Disney had a white Ariel. If it doesnt matter make the character white to appease the actual audience.
The thing is...it DOES matter. Thats why they cast a black actress. It matters to Disney to push their own agendas. It matters to the consumer because people have black fatigue. The majority of the angst in the country in recent years has been caused by black people who despite being 13% of the population, demand 90% of the countries attention all the damn time.
People are tired of it. They want a break from the constant pandering to black people.
That said, I think people would welcome an original black folktale for children. I think black people would appreciate that more than just raceswapping rehashed stories.

As someone in the dating world now...its much more frustating than this. There is no real conversation, there is sporadic conversation from morning till bedtime. Think about having a conversation...but you only get responses in random sporadic time intervals. Could be seconds...could be hours...or days. The fact is, if you are talking to any girl over say a 5, you are competing for her time against hundreds of other guys.
Ive tried workarounds to this by not using dating apps and asking girls out to specific times and places(never negotiating this over text). They still try and corral you into their herd of simp followers.

True, but Galadriel didnt go to follow Feonor. She was in the crew that reluctantly went and the ones Feonor tried to leave behind when they took the ships.

Again, Amazon chose Galadriel as the main character. They were not forced to do so. Lore Galadriel who was feminine, beautiful,
and wise. Amazon thinks that is boring so they felt that they had to change her. Nobody forced them to do that.
