O-Line important but scheme, QB mobility more important
Posted by LLSSUU on 1/14/26 at 3:22 pm
I realize O-Line was bad last year but having Nuss with limited mobility and injury and not wanting to run because of both added even more pressure to the O-Line. Under the new circumstances with Levitt with next level mobility when the line breaks down, factoring also having to guard against the run, Scheme, and Play Calling, the line will be grossly be improved even if the players are not on paper technically better.

A couple things. 1) my thread is just my opinion no sources and no sources referenced. Chill out. I just keep seeing kids wanting the opportunity to compete. If Sam comes he could technically be here for two years and I think Clark wants to compete for the starting job. 2) if he is being considered for a backup for LSU then Yes he could start for many teams now. Are those SEC / BIG ten teams probably not but many others yes. If that is not a priority and the money is right then why don’t you think he has signed with LSU yet?
Clark will not commit until Levitt makes his decision

It is not that hard to understand, yes we want him as our back up but these kids want to start even him. No chance we get them both and I know that is what we all want.
Could they possibly just pay him more / close to match / match
and call it a day..
and call it a day..
This is crazy...
Can I go to bed yet?

Anyone feel super excited but exhausted, midnight EST time. I am hoping to wake up to something but not sure they would announce anything tonight right?????
Checking this site every few seconds like it is my 401K

Ready to breath, only wanting at this point to lock up SL. Then get excited what is left.
I think his point is no possible way he gets up and runs that quarterback sneak and scores without going to the major limping, hurt, dramatics…yes he was tough but a different mentality
We can all agree, QB will be Significantly upgraded this year!
Posted by LLSSUU on 12/17/25 at 2:29 pm
No to offend Nuss because I know he wasn’t healthy but seeing what is out there and watching highlights of all these dudes in the portal, we are going to have a significant upgrade at QB regardless of online, receivers etc. just on QB talent alone…

He is gone! Very somber! A little irritated at the one reporter that apparently gets to ask 7 questions. LSU will allow him to coach and finish the season but Ole Miss will not and that is why he always says planned to finish the season etc. He will take comfort that he wanted to but Ole Miss didn't let him.
MVB decision if he was your son, what would have been your advice?
Posted by LLSSUU on 11/22/25 at 5:51 am
Option 1 - take the playing time when you can get it, get more film out there, play for your team, etc. still keep redshirt and could use it next year, year after. Play ball!
Option 2 - don’t burn your redshirt, 2 games may or may not prove anything more on your game tape, may never get the right opportunity to redshirt again where it would be meaningful, lose potential big future earning dollars. A pretty high chance the next coach is brining in there guy, you probably will not be at LSU next year. Perhaps more marketable in the portal with three years versus two.
How are you advising your son? Option 1 / 2?

Not mad, it is just interesting that all these guys that do this for a living really do not know much more than the average fan.
I wish someone that actually does this for a living had more insight that us perhaps...

Every single “insider,” beat writer, YouTube guru, TV talking head, and national “analyst” who’s continue to flood your timeline with “sources say” and “I’m hearing” about LSU’s next coach……knows exactly the same amount as you do right now. Nothing!
Not hard to figure out what Lane is thinking…
Posted by LLSSUU on 11/20/25 at 8:58 am
Lane is coaching through the playoffs regardless if he stays or goes. Ole Miss will not do anything. If he happens to win the National Championship he stays, however when he gets bounced he is leaving. LSU is betting that they don’t win it all and that they will lose first or second round. Lane had already secured a big NIL bag guarantee from all three schools. LSU is going to let him coach through the playoffs, Florida is not. LSU will sell to the recruits / transfers, he is coming but has to see the season through with Ole Miss so come on and here is some extra $$$. If you are an LSU fan, pulling for Ole Miss to lose first round or perhaps to Mississippi State.
Theee straight plays to Johnson. Obsession with playing. Back up quarterback

Exactly on the RPO, why would a hurt quarterback run???
More talent on offense / still can’t stop a running QB
Posted by LLSSUU on 10/2/25 at 9:22 pm
We have more talent on offense this year than last year but offense is not good. On defense why much improved, way more dudes but we still struggle with scheming for a running quarterback. These two areas is why most are frustrated!
