Bama will spy JD. We won't dominate their DL and they will do whatever they can to force us to pass. And they will press us hard and force JD to read and throw deeper balls.
And that has been his problem throws after progressing thru reads too slow. Hopefully we connect on a long one. If not, they will pack us at the line even harder.

If we win, it will be extremely low scoring, IMO

I just can't see a scenario where our offense pushes them around.

I hope it's a magical night and defense creates scoring opportunities for us.

If nit, I see Bama covering the 14, and then some

This isn't his first year trying, it's his 4th.
The only difference between JB Jr and Sr year, is Brady realized he could run the most complicated offense and JB could handle. JB ALWAYS had the play/coverages computed in his head PRE snap.

Agreed. I'm not shutting on him. Hes all around led us to victory. But those mistakes can be costly easily.
He has started major ball for 3 or 4 years now. Those late reads shouldn't be happening by now. It just doesn't seem to be something he can fix. His running gas never been in doubt

The long pass (34 yds) td was not that good. Jenkins was double cover, pass was thrown late and not well thrown. It was under thrown and amazingly JJ was able to split the 2 defenders, run back to catch it, and score
Not sure we'll have that kind of good fortune with the athletes Bama has, on poor throwing decisions
I love his progress to this point, but hope he progresses further on longer throws

It really is a head scratcher as to how much his offense has tailed off.
Guy could flat out score on OKC...whether it be penetration or mid range shots.
