Yeah but will the negatigers be the people that were miles supporters and positigers?!?

That's a great point. I think the negatigers and positigers will change sides.

Sid, well put. Saban's not into charity cases. This may not be the big name everyone was looking for, but he's a good recruiter and LB coach.

re: Will Clark was THE MAN!

I was 3 years behind Will at Jesuit, and he always made time for the younger players, which was more than I can say for the other seniors on the team. He's been nothing but nice to me over the years. I think his cockiness made him the type of player he was. I certainly can't dispute the stories about him, but he does have it in him to be likable.
He's a preferred walk-on. Great shooter. He wasn't chosen as a favor to anyone, and his dad is not a big booster. He won't play any meaningful minutes, but he's a good kid to have on the team.

Franklin is a really good DB and kick returner. He'll be a SR next season and will probably get a D-1 scholarship.

Thought it was because McCarron missed TR running down the sideline open.

I'm pretty sure this is what it was about. It was what the announcers showed on replay

re: Van's lead

Vans record has been so much better that Johnsons the last 2 years. Why cant Joe go ahead and give Trent an athletic dept. job too. Then we could go ahead and get a coach that will do the job for us. Are we really to believe that O'Bryant and a transfer from Iowa st. are going to make us an SEC contender. Hardly!

clock/game management in the spotlight

[quote]It wasn't clock management, it was a substitution issue

I think clock/game manangement covers it. A substitution issue at that critical point of the game (after a timeout) is clearly poor game management.
