The only way Georgia is out is if they lose to Georgia Tech and LSU. Very unlikely they lose to Georgia Tech. I think LSU would get the spot over USC based on strength of schedule.

If South Carolina can beat Tennessee the way they did on Saturday then anybody can beat anybody in the SEC. Heck, Vanderbilt beat Kentucky and Florida in back to back weeks. Who would have thought?

It seems so many people these days are wanting acreage. But why? Why would you need something else to take care of? Let alone the expenses of taxes, insurance, and upkeep.

I remember payback for the loss to Notre Dame earlier in the season. In the Independence Bowl, LSU's offensive line played very well. That was a cold Winter as I recall.

Anybody remember the 1997 Independence Bowl against Notre Dame? I have fond memories of watching it on ESPN and listening to it on AM 870. Was a good night.
