It’s been children leading children for so long now. I’m not sure anything can save New Orleans.
You have the damn lead. Why in the hell are you jacking up three-point attempts with a full shot clock?
quote:

The athletes are why this game exists. The game does not exist for the fans. It exists to provide opportunities for student athletes.

So “whats good for fans” no one gives a shite about.

It always will be about the student. Always.

So deal with it. Because the students are way better off. And what fans think don’t mean a damn thing.

Cool. Let's dismantle all of the stadiums and see what happens.

Congrats on having a truly idiotic take.

Really enjoyed Anaconda

Took my 20-something year old son yesterday after watching the original with him two days prior.

I get worried about Jack Black being too over the top in movies, but he was pretty reserved in this.

Lots of laugh out loud moments for us, and the premise was well done. A few surprises and multiple callbacks to the original that worked in context.
Two things.

I’ve passed by the Highland Road store numerous times, and it always looks like the start of a Stephen King novel on the outside. What’s going on inside?

For the gentleman who commented on the change in the jingle, I kind of wonder exactly how many helpful hardware “folks” there actually are that the update was necessary.
No.

And how is there not a player in the starting five from Louisiana or a neighboring state? Canada, Australia, Spain, Orlando, Oklahoma. WTH?
Stop giving him a platform by watching and repeating. His job is to get eyeballs, and you’re helping.
The NCAA is a toothless dinosaur that will fold at the hint of any lawsuit challenging its authority. They won’t, and can’t, do a damn thing anyone related to the structure of “college” football.
What's sickening is that we won't do anything about fraud, but God help you if you don't pay your tax bill.
My wife made me a batch of cookies from a particular bakery in New Orleans that is no longer around. She took the time to find their recipe and bake them after I mentioned it months ago. Wrapped them and had them ready on Christmas Day after baking on Christmas Eve while I was at work.
We went to war with England for a three-cent tax. The yoke we bear now would make King George III laugh until his sides spilt.
Sitting out watching a No. 5 and No. 7 seed in my league play for the ship because, as the No. 1 seed, I let the weather talk convince me to sit Stafford two weeks ago. Lost that game by three points. Would have won tonight by about 20 points. So bummed.
Nothing like winning a playoff game and worrying about LSU.

Rent free.
USC files legal challenge against lifetime Gamecock ticket holder

A much-hyped nine-figure overhaul to the Williams-Brice Stadium is set to double the number of suites in the stadium and displace thousands of longtime ticket holders. Now, the University of South Carolina is suing one of those fans whose family has held tickets on the 50-yard line for 60 years.

Blame ESPN and the powers that be. They have made everything outside of the playoffs all but irrelevant. ND certainly does not need the payout or exposure of a lesser bowl.

Who gives a shite about practices when players are transferring out and all you are really doing is giving other schools an opportunity to see backups that they can then poach?

The world is different now. This is 99% a business now. Players and schools will do what is in their best interests. Amateur sports is dead.
Unfortunately, for the most part, the allure of the bowl season has been ruined. ESPN is 90% responsible for the push of the playoff and the expanded playoff that has made the bowl games an obsolete dinosaur.

Players opt-out, and there is no real benefit to playing anymore thanks to the portal.

Yes, I'm still going to watch my Tigers in whatever bowl game they play in, but I'm not going to travel for this. So, whichever is just great.
