They are NEVER winning a NC! Lol that’s why he will leave.
If things stay on this track, why even have recruiting?
I am not against college athletes transferring. They are different than regular students given a scholarship because most are heavily recruited. Which means schools pay heavily to get them, then they are given a free scholarship, and a lot of other stuff now days too.
I'm not against them transferring. I'm against no rules for it all.

College athletes are students yes, and not professionals.
Why bother recruiting any player out of high school now?

these kids arent?

No, they aren't.
Not at all.
I was referring to you complaining about coaches leaving schools and taking other jobs for more money or whatever. Seems a lot of people are butt hurt over that for some reason.

Sorry, meant this reply to go to that other person talking about coaches.
Coaches are PROFESSIONALS.
Idk why people on this board can't understand that. Geez
When they make the new rule nobody can transfer until after 2 years that will fix a lot.
No, most of them been with their schools over 2 years.
Who cares! It's going to be a rough time for him if we ever play him lol! He needs to think about quitting and transferring again before that happens.
TIGERBAIT!
He's going to regret it when he sees us winning the national championship.
Who cares he's Tigerbait now.
Who cares! He's a quitter and TIGERBAIT now!

You don't think schools pay a ton to recruit these kids? No, you are mistaking college for pro. College kids are not professionals. They aren't. Like that are not.
And I'm pretty sure your company didn't pay a ton of money to get you hired on or have other employees spend countless time getting you to commit to work there. You need to think a little before you spill out your automatic offended replies. Furthermore, college sports has had rules forever. The NCAA is a privately owned entity.

Exactly. I hope we kick his arse, and we will.

Totally different case from players in college. Coaching is a profession, playing college sports isn't. Yes they pay a penalty. Yes, they do get buyouts paid, but they do pay penalties in some contracts. You don't have a clue what you are talking about.

Stop being mad at the schools dude. It's how it's gone for years.

Protect the schools from what? A system they asked for or protect them from the decades of making millions off kids who received an education which was generally funded by the federal and state governments? The schools are just getting their just desserts after decades of what can essentially be labeled slave labor based on the amount made vs amount spent.

bullshite! Schools pay tons of coaches and others to recruit these kids. You don't have a fricking clue what you are talking about.
If a kid leaves after a couple of years at a school, no.
If a kid leaves after one year as a redshirt freshman, YES

Exactly! HE could have put in the work and EARNED it, but he chose to take the easy way out. Unfortunately, this is what the NCAA has allowed to happen with no consequence teaching kids absolutely nothing!

WRONG. Coaches sign contracts! They get penalized kids dont.

He made a pledge to a school and accepted a free ride after the school spent lots of time and money recruiting him. He then QUITS on the school and leaves. He was man enough to accept the offer, he deserves to be trashed!

No, he's going somewhere where they accept QUITTERS!
Amen brother! My thoughts EXACTLY!
If a kid has been at a school for a couple years, no!
One year redshirt? Yes!

Losing elite talent because they are buried on the depth chart is a symptom of a successful program. Get used it it!

NO, losing elite talent period is terrible. LSU and other schools spend tons of money and time on these kids in recruiting. No matter what, it is wrong the way it is. NCAA has to get some rules and consequences for all this shite and start protecting the schools as well.
