Lets not forget the reality that Beck was headed to the NFL draft before the injury.

He already earned his degree from Georgia.
He was instrumental in winning the SEC Championship in 2024.

He simply chose the best option available for this season.

If he shows up on campus for an eventual reunion, I will gladly clap for him and his teammates,

I consider Carson a DGD.

Carson Beck earned a degree from Georgia.

Carson Beck is a Georgia Letterman and SEC Champion QB.

Carson Beck took the last snap of the 2024 SEC Championship game with an injured arm and handed it off to Etienne for the overtime game winning touchdown.

Before the injury Carson Beck was headed for the NFL draft.
The injury changed his course and presented him with an alternative that helped him secure a financial safety net.

I don't blame him for a second to secure the payout that Miami was willing to offer him as an alternative to becoming a lower round draft pick.

DGD

The coaches poll final ranking has Georgia at #2.

targeting on the IU QB was missed twice for sure.

The bloody lip was caused by an intentional head butt with the crown of the helmet. It should have been called as a fragrant personal foul.

Any coach that would not stand up for his QB in that situation would be a fool.

Much more likeable guy I hate to say.

When asked what he was going to do next.... The ESPN crew expected the typical response..." I'm going to go to Disney World."
Instead, he simply said, "I'm going to have a beer."

I'll bet that he doesn't drink Bud Light.

But did he line himself up to be featured in a beer commercial. $$$$ ????

Georgia

Georgia has won back to back SEC Championships.

We anticipate having a better team next season...

And your team?

:dunno:

I heard 90% of their players in 2025 committed to Georgia out of high school.

Kirby's biggest selling point is that he will tell a recruit that he will coach them to be NFL ready.

He also tells them that he doesn't offer an easy road to improvement.

Georgia is on schedule to be a powerhouse in 2026.

Not one of these schools has won an SEC Football Championship -- EVER !

Texas A&M has played Georgia once in 2019.

If you have not noticed, ESPN is now calling the shots about the new 9 game conference schedule and about which teams are being matched up.

If you look closely at the 2026 matchups you will find that $ankey screwed over LSU, aTm and Texas.

Holly Rowe should have that job as long as she wants it. She's got more football knowledge in that dome than the rest combined.

I had a chat with Holly Rowe at the SEC Softball Tournament held in Athens last Spring. I found her to be very personable and simply a nice person.

Due to my sports interests, Allyssa Lang, Kaylee Mansell and Hannah Yates are my favorite sports reporters.

Georgia first played Ole Miss in 1940

The teams have played 50 games.

Georgia leads the head to head with a 34-15-1 record.

In other words, Georgia has won 70% of the time.

In additional words... Georgia is the blue blood and Mississippi is the team with the blue balls.

Those are the ones that can make or break your team.

I can't speak for other teams, but many come to Georgia to get coached up for the next level.

Kirby tries to avoid those who are only looking for more money.

No, I'm not a fan of Greg $ankey. He is ESPN's concubinate.

With the new 9 game conference schedule, the entire SEC conference is at an even greater disadvantage.

And no, I don't embrace settling for anything less that a 100% effort.

You really can't compare the two programs at this point.

Texas has a system already in place while LSU's system is going to be significantly revamped.

Teams that have been stable don't need as much portal talent and the learning curve is minimal.

Cignetti was an exception because he brought both his system and a whole bunch of players from James Madison. He also didn't have a killer schedule to deal with right out of the gate.

LSU has a legit chance because the toughest run is at the end of the season with Alabama, Texas and Tennessee in a row. LSU also caught a break by not having to play Georgia for three years in a row.

Georgia just won back to back SEC Championships.

And this year we beat Alabama in Atlanta by 21 points.

In the last 5 seasons:

We have gone 65-7
We have won two National Championships.
We have won three SEC Championships.

Yep, we only went 12-2 this season with one of the youngest rosters in the country; the second youngest in the SEC.

It is what it it is.......

7-5 or 8-4

That near empty Death Valley Stadium scene against aTm just keeps me from being exact as well.

LSU will go somewhere between 7-5 and 9-3. :drunkards:

Wow...you guys are worse than the Vols at claiming preseason titles.

This is now uncharted territory.

Every team in the SEC with Orange colors is drinking massive amounts of Kool-Aid.

Tennessee
Auburn

Gullible people...

Georgia has the best RB and TE rooms in the SEC.

Hope Alabama leadership feels the same. Y’all are toast.

Alabama leadership is responsible for the 15 year Learfield deal.
The same Learfield deal that pushed Saban out the door.

DeBoer is stuck with the same setup and Bama fans seem clueless about it.

Nate Frazier is attending classes today on the Georgia campus.
