Negotiate? This entire play has been an exercise in creativity fostering division and mistrust within the IRGC. In my opinion, the internal fracture will ultimately bloodshed among the different factions of the IRGC.

They will destroy themselves

Yes I can see that and it looks like they wont have a leader that can control the actions of all of their military any time soon if ever.

Drill baby drill, bomb baby bomb and continue to strangle off their revenue.

2 ships fired upon were reported.

It`s obvious now that there is no regime organized leadership calling the shots.

Who is Trump going to negotiate with when there is no leader calling the shots?

JUST IN: President Trump just told CBS News that the Iranian regime has AGREED to allow U.S. personnel to enter Iran to collect and extract leftover uranium.

Great!

The Islamic Republic just said it will not transfer or surrender its enriched uranium at any cost!

Is this another fake news story?

Might take a while to dig it out of the sand.

No matter what, getting our hands on that enriched uranium should be top priority before any deal can be made.

Thats what Obama gave them. Their money back + interest.

Did you really not know that?

Obama and Biden also lifted billions in sanctions, don`t forget that.

Buying Uranium at a deep discount doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Turns out, there was no offer to release money to Iran for uranium.

But when Obama unfroze their assets 10+ years ago

First, you are mixing metaphors. Obama paid Iran pallets of cash and a $1.7Billion total to settle a dispute whereby Iran had paid the US $400M for weapons in 1979, but after the Iranian revolution, the US never provided the weapons.

There were a half-dozen ways around that issue, not the least of which is the owed counterparty no longer existed.

Instead, Obama decided to pay not just "the frozen asset" at $400M, but also an additional $1.3B in interest.

And never forget:

Obama said - "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction"

According to Axios, citing two U.S. officials, a three-page plan is at the center of U.S.-Iranian peace talks. One facet of the plan reportedly being discussed by both sides is the release of $20 billion in frozen Iranian funds in exchange for Iran giving up its stockpiles of enriched uranium. Per the report, earlier in the negotiation process, the U.S. offered the release of $6 billion and the Iranians countered with a demand to release $27 billion. U.S. officials have described the potential deal as a “cash-for-uranium concept.”

Great, easily get a hold of the enriched uranium.

Then proceed to bombing the sht out of them and block their income because no matter what Iran agrees to, they can not be trusted.

He moved to Cape Town, South Africa.

He must have some money if he paid to move there and is paying rent there now.

Are his co called wife and kids with him there?

It would be interesting to see what kind of place he is living in there and how much it cost.

:usa: :geauxtigers:
How will we ever have a peace deal when Trump says no nuclear development.

Has Iran agreed to no more nuclear development?

Iran also needs to give up what enriched uranium they claimed to have.

:usa: :geauxtigers:
The news reporters have not pressed the politicians very much at all on exposing the slush fund.

Seems there is an effort by the elites to continue sweeping it under the rug.

Too many big names involved likely.

:usa: :geauxtigers:
Do we have any unfinished bombing to do?

Seems Trump must think we have bombed enough if he was willing to cease fire and negotiate.

:usa: :geauxtigers:
All this hoopla and the taxpayer funded store is not even open and may not ever open.

Normally you would take the victory lap once the store is open and successful.

Likely that will not happen so Mambamby decided to celebrate now?

Just like Trump said.

There will be some short term pain to endure while cleaning up all the mess the Dumbocrats created.

Thank god the Dumbocrats are not in power now.

The longer Iran is blocked from selling their oil, the more pressure there will be to fill the void and produce more to meet the demand.

The less demand for Iranian oil the less leverage they have and Iran will go broke quickly.

:usa: :geauxtigers:
If the USA and others around the world have enough extra oil being produced and for sale to make up for disruption in the middle east then why are oil futures up today?

WTIC closed Friday at about 96 and as of now since opening at 5 pm CT it shot up to 105.

Big bucks commodity traders have the best info out there on supply and demand.

Maybe if some experts laid out the facts about how we do have enough extra oil for sale out there now then the oil prices would stabilize and go back down.
