You know what really grinds my gears?

That reminds me of the guy who used to be on the radio years back. I can't remember his name but he used to start of his schtick with "you know what makes me sick" or something of the sort. I know someone here will remember this.
It amazes me how people are surprised how Uncle Dan reacted. It's going to come to a boiling point soon I fear and these fools gonna FAFO. I truly hope I never come in contact with this kind of crap because I am sure I would take an arse whooping but I can promise you I will get a few of them before that happens.

God I miss the 80's
Baton Rouge ghetto here! Redemptorist class of 83, Mrs. Williamson, English. First day of school we thought she was a new student. American Indian and a smoke show. Made me enjoy English class
It was pretty cool having MTV as my initials growing up. Although I was 16 when it aired so technically the station was named after me.
Also it's interesting that Kennedy is still on TV just in a much different format
We have a Frenchie. It was my wife's before we got together. She had to have a coochie-otomi recently because she had a fat coochie. If you are in the Baton Rouge are I highly recommend AVS. Georgia is a trip to say the least. She keeps us laughing constantly. Although they are definitely not athletes.
I retired from there. It was a great place to work when Williams had it. Nova is not very employee friendly. Way different culture in Canada
she was once so beautiful. She hasn't aged well to say the least. I see her regularly and she is now on the Ozempic stuff.

re: Is having kids worth it?

Kids are worth it. Just understand that to do it right, it takes a lot of work. So many parents today are on their phones and are kinda tuned out to their kids. I see it all the time. I am glad we didn't have that when my kids were young because I probably would have been one of those. Plus, they grow up and give you grandkids!!
Like we would trust THEIR judgement on the health or our president
You are correct, she didn't say that specifically, but she did say that ICE is acting violently and acting above the law and that Oregon will monitor their actions. How about arresting the ones who are actually acting unlawfully, the ICE protesters. They are the ones who attack the officers putting everyone in danger yet no one seems to want to hold them accountable.

True, but there has got to be a cheaper way to do it if that's their plan :dunno:

I'm curious about the chem trail theory. What's the end game of doing this?
I really don't have a clue if it is real or not as I don't know who to believe.
I have an 87 with an LS swap. It had the swap already when I bought it. Flew to North Carolina with a buddy of mine and drove it home. No problems. The good ones are around if you keep your eye open but they can be pricey depending on the level of resto they are in. Parts have been pretty easy to find and the C-10 community is helpful. I love the truck as I had an 87 I bought new and totaled the damn thing in 88. Always wanted another one and got this one before I retired.

re: Chelsea St Pub in Cortana Mall

I remember one particular cinema at the Cortana cinema had 2 seats back in the corner. I "saw" grease a whole bunch of times in that one. Me and my girlfriend at the time would be dropped off at the mall by our parents and go see Grease. They played a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute before the movie.

Also, what was the drink at Chelsea's that had the flaming sugar cube? I think that drink was there. It's been a while
[quote]In youth wrestling I’ve seen kids go 0-20 their first year and then win the state in their third year after working incredibly hard. Imagine that life lesson.

I have also seen that kids that excel at certain sports excel in the classroom, cross country, swimming, wrestling.

I am glad someone realizes this. I coached high school wrestling several years and I would like to think that I had some influence on their development. Some of my kids had ZERO athletic ability or had ever played a sport and chose wrestling. My first question to them was "you picked this one?" But they showed up day in and day out, put in the work and competed. Not all of them had success on the mat but they had future success in life. I was told by parents that their son had gained confidence and learned that if you work hard you can achieve much success.
Wrestling is a very unique sport and it is gaining some traction in the south. Girls finally got sanctioned last year, we seem to always be one of the last states to get on board, and it has opened us opportunities for girls to wrestle in college. I have a girl in Pa. wrestling now on a scholarship.

re: Thoughts on the C7 Corvette

Bought the Mrs. a C7 last year. 2016 with 27k miles. Got a good deal on it and she loves it. Growing up I was a huge Vette fan, who wasn't back in the day? We drove it to Gulf Shores in August and I was impressed at the gas mileage and comfort it had for a trip.

ETA: she bought me some New Balances for Christmas last year. I am hoping to get jorts this year.
My extra ride is a 1987 square body with an LS swap.

Say what you want, the C7 is a pretty sweet ride

Booked a trip through Costco this past summer. Went to Mexico at an all-inclusive resort for 5 days, air fare, transportation to and from airport, 200 buck to spend at resort (did a couples massage) and 200 dollar gift card to Costco. Total for us:3300.00
Hell, I drank 1000.00 worth of pina coladas myself. Food was off the chart.

We went to Unico 20 87
You'll notice the line under my name. Maybe one more time.
:dude:
Never really wanted it. I assume it was pawned and spent on the obvious plastic surgery she has had since then.

Just remember what they say: You know why divorce is so expensive? Because it's worth it!
I have 2 coffee pots like this!
