It would fulfill his contract with Ole Miss and they would have no choice but to let him go.
The buyout of Demond was 3 million. The buyout of this guy is 300K or 10% of that. If LSU pays the buyout his contract is fulfilled and he is free to go. Nobody wanted to pay 3 million for Demond.
They are trying to talk him into staying with more money, but this is the school that only offered 30% of what LSU did. That’s his value to Ole Miss

LSU fulfills his contract demands and Ole Miss can’t hold him hostage.
So if LSU pays it then there is nothing to discuss. He gets to play for LSU. Easy solution for everyone

Are you stupid? Good move for who? Ole Miss program is being gutted. As long as LSU pays the fairly small buyout of 300K there is nothing to discuss. Not remotely the same as Demond Williams who signed for millions.
If the buyout is going to be paid there is nothing to bitch about.
