My friends that work there are hearing them too. Heard even the janitors are talking about it now.

I saw two of kaisers transition team employees today at lunch across the street from Lafayette general today. I guess where there’s smoke there’s fire.

Just a rumor for now , but I was hearing about ochsner being sold last spring from someone on the board. At that time I passed it off as just something they considered.

They have something called in house agency right now paying 80 dollars an hour but they are trying to bump it down to the 65-70 dollar range unless you agree to work 5 12 hour shifts a week for the 80 dollars. I’ve had a few friends leave and go elsewhere when they try to cut their pay.

I wonder what’s the time frame for Kaiser to take over Ochsner Health. Took about 3 years for Ochsner to buy the Lafayette hospital system but of course that was during a pandemic

Crescent Connection, I worked agency at lgmc during the pandemic and you have hit the nail on the head with what has been going on. Another rumor I’m hearing is they may shut down the orthopedic hospital on the other side of Lafayette . Any truth to this?
