Meh, growing up I remember there being kids only events at various places. I can't remember if it was explicitly said parents not allowed but it was implied at the least. It's okay to have places for kids to grow up and learn independence.
Now it being wrapped in the framework of sexuality is another bag of worms but just having a place for kids to have a supervised good time without parents around isn't a bad thing imo.

Nah, DeSantis supporters are concerned with defeating Biden and actually governing the country with conservative policies. Trump supporters are concerned with frankly idealizing the man as a near godlike figure, the only one who can save us from the deep state globalist. And never mind that he is going further and further to the left in trying to attack DeSantis, he’s still infallible.

Is it legal in Indiana? If so she did the right thing if that's what the girl and her parents wanted. Is her age what makes this news I'm not getting it. It would be beyond cruel to force a 10 year old to give birth if she didn't want to.

The MAGA crowd it seems has turned into a bunch of LARPers pretending they are in a battle against a deep state bogeyman and conspiracies around every corner. They've traded in actual politics and governing for entertainment, and just so long as they get some of those sweet lib tears all is well.
Maybe endorsements don't actually mean very much and people spend way too much time worrying about who endorses who when it has little bearing on the outcomes..

I agree. It's not just the dessert though. We need to be ordering a salad not the appetizer, filet, tons of sides,and then yes the dessert too.
DeSantis appears to be for this. Trump talked the talk going into his presidency but the debt kept going up year over year under him.

I'm guessing the congress over the prior year. If the Republican congressman didn't advocate for cuts then the spending is on them too. Like I said earlier I heard it mentioned in more than one thread that one of DeSantis's faults was advocating for cutting social security and Medicare, two of the largest expenditures of the federal government. That should tell you everything you need to know about how serious some are about cuts.
I don't know why that means no cuts can occur either, not sure where that comes from.

Honestly the idea of the debt limit doesn't make sense. Pay your bills, but also don't order so much. I found it odd though I read in a thread the other day someone who no doubt is against raising the debt was also against cutting social security and Medicare. That doesn't make sense to me

You can't have your cake and eat it too. Either you want to shrink the government or not, and by the sounds of it you don't. Ron is fiscally conservative, that's not a bad thing.
