re: Mondo Duplantis — Greatest LSU athlete of all time?
Posted by TheAlchemist on 1/14/26 at 10:51 pm to MondoDuplantisFan69
If you want to answer this with a sneaky good answer as athlete.
Chad Jones because he dominated at an elite level across multiple sports and positions, simultaneously, on national championship teams. He won a BCS football national title and baseball title, earned All-SEC honors as a safety and a game-changing punt returner. He also won a College World Series, hitting .343 and was the closer on the national championship baseball team, with a 2.70 ERA and throwing three straight scoreless, hitless innings to close out the title game. No other LSU athlete combined championships, true multi-sport athleticism, and elite production across different positions like my baw Chad Jones.

re: What is the context behind Cauble’s tweet?
Posted by TheAlchemist on 1/8/26 at 11:17 pm to Tigernomics
He talking about Charlie Weiss Jr and coaches on offensive staff driving & flying back and forth from Baton Rouge to Oxford . The OC & staff is the real reason they were doing good as Ole Miss defense “aka Pete Golding” is exposed and terrible but LSU Offensive staff and coaches kept them in games.
re: Why would Frank Wilson even care?
Posted by TheAlchemist on 12/27/25 at 9:57 pm to gumbeaux
Because you are a professional and your are a competitor and you are what you repeatedly do as a leader you set examples . Frank Wilson is first class how he handled all this and he loves Louisiana and LSU. Wish him nothing but the best.
re: Essentially sports has an article . Lane Kiffin to Poach Ole Miss OB.

Like most have said the top are Jayden Daniels , Joe Burrow, and Billy Cannon
4th spot out of these
-Tyran Mathieu
-Kevin Faulk
-Glenn Dorsey
-Tommy Casanova
I would go with Badger if not for his troubles he would have won the Heisman as primary Defense and totally changed the game to where he was a legit scorer on Defense and Special teams. I don’t think we have seen anyone like him . Kevin Faulk right behind.

re: If that's it for Eyanson, how do you handle the bullpen?
Posted by TheAlchemist on 6/16/25 at 7:45 pm to Jugular Joe
You go with Cooper Williams with ucla lefties with a quick hook if he can’t hold but he’s been proven to very solid especially of late . Love the matchup would have Shores and Evans up next .
re: May have to go Evans now

re: Who's coming in after Kade?
Posted by TheAlchemist on 6/14/25 at 8:05 pm to Mr Roboto
Evans if remains 3-1 or closer , but depends on a lot of circumstances

Why wouldn’t he be getting a chance to play in NFL? I mean I understand maybe not right away but why not later?
