Usually on a date. One of my long term boyfriends was in marching band at another school, which sucked because none of my friends wanted to go to the games. Ended up with the girls riding around, at the mall, or at the movies those nights most of the time.

Once in a while I would be at my cousin’s in Bogalusa. “Cruising the Sonic” made me appreciate pretty much anything I did in BR very much.
My son can down five without catching a breath.

I can’t imagine what he could do over an hour or so.

He is not fat, but does physical outdoor work and is in his 20s. I keep telling him his metabolism won’t support that forever.

This is news? I thought this was already confirmed

In the words of Khaleesi’s handmaiden…”this is known”.

This came out during The Last of Us, Im pretty sure.
I use Cool Whip a good bit.

My daughter and husband will want Spaghetti-Os with “meat”balls from time to time.

I also usually keep some concentrated OJ in the freezer.

I can vouch. Bitches do.
We have started throwing more cups and tshirts. Significantly sized plush and anything light-up, people seem to ask for. I inherited some hula hoops, hung them behind me and forgot about them until people started hollering for them. I throw almost no beads now. Only a few really big ones.

From a crowd perspective—my kids’ favorite things caught this year were a huge plush snake, light up rings, and a light up fedora.

The way the ending comes together is downright Shakespearean in style.

Great scene, but as much as I love Steve Carell, I find myself enjoying Ryan Gosling the most. The dead stop and stare when he sees Cal, “whats a nana”, and especially when he turns his ring around to go after Lindhagen. So good.
Damn. That is a tough one.

I was just watching Varsity Blues while working an hour ago.

the last 10 minutes of that episode, with the GOT theme bumping, that got the blood flowing.

I have watched the first three episodes kind of lackadaisically, but now Im invested and will likely rewatch them all before the final eps.

I have not read the Hedge Knight books but had heard of Duncan the Tall and Egg in GoT. I was not super excited about this series, but willing to dip my toe in anything Westeros.

That last ten minutes! I audibly gasped twice, causing my kid to come in and start watching with me. Im pretty charged up for the next episode and kind of bent the season is so short.

Speaking as a mom, she should already realize this. Mosquito, spider, dog, intruder…something poses a threat to my baby, I kill it. May have some emotional fallout after— so be it. But I will never feel less than justified.

They could have put a Goudchaux's in the old I.H. Rubenstein's building and I would not have known

I wish they had. It downgraded by degrees, finally culminating in a flea market.

I had forgotten about that one! Yes, neither was open more than a few years.

There absolutely was a Frostop location nearby. It was a little further east on Florida. Wesleys was in the same building as the theater, just down a sidewalk.

I dont think the two were open at the same time. Wesleys was there when I moved to Broadmoor in the late 70s and closed. Frostop was open in the 90s.

I am positive I saw Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom, War Games, The Outsiders and the Twilight Zone movie at Cortana. Quite a few more I dont recall, Im sure.

Just got back into town from the MS Gulf Coast so nothing is ready. Prepping turkey and sausage gumbo for tomorrow. Maybe a crawfish mac and cheese for Tuesday.
Prince. Had two good chances that didnt pan out. Major regret.
Maiden name: England/Scotland.

Married name: France
Five years and three months before the first one.

Second one ten years later.

No, that wasn’t the plan.
For dessert…Sugar Pop Bakery in Waveland. Excellent desserts and treats, and good sandwiches. The owner won one of the Baking Championships on Food Network. Its in the Katrina museum, oddly. Worth the little drive to Waveland.

We, too, have been several times and hit the major spots. Going next weekend and trying two of the new places— Anthonys and Fields Crab Shack.

I am wanting to get to Radish in Long Beach. Heard a lot of good things.
I am currently sitting in one at my camp. Single wide. In the middle of 30 acres. Wide covered porches down both sides and a metal pitched roof. Its 35 years old and winter insulated. We had the entire floor and subfloor redone two years ago and its pretty solid. Not at all fancy, but cool in summer, warm in winter. No mice. (Thank you, barn cats.)

I live in it probably 25% of the time. One of my favorite places.

Pro: its a paid for residence if ever needed, good spot to get away, very comfortable

Cons: dont want to be here in really bad weather, a bitch to get insurance

I’m very blessed.
