yea thats a great idea, lets just be good instead of being great, when you have the talent pool, the facilities, the finances, and fan support to be great, but no thanks lets just say its ok, we will take a back seat to bama, cuz they're special!

yep, you pretty much nailed it. Looked like a replay of last season! The one positive is that hopefully it is one step closer to getting miles OUT.
It doesn't matter what saban is credited for - fact is miles is an idiot in the sec-point blank!
I don't know what Richt's problem is because I don't really keep up. But are you seriously doubting Spurrier's coaching ability. He gets very little top ranked talent at SC and that equals little depth. He has put together some pretty good seasons at SC with what he is working with. Look at what he did at Fl and he was competing with Miami for talent in that state. What everyone forgets is that when Saban came to LSU he started with nothing. Following behind Dinardo was a total uphill battle and look what Saban did. Miles came to an already stacked team with a reputation and his record is comparable to Sabans in the same time frame. Miles team lacks discipline and exacution, and these are the areas great temas excel at, Period! I would gladly take a "washed up" Spurrier!
