re: Is there Vegas odds for Coach O getting off one of the planes today??

I doubt he’d fly to Oxford to catch a plane to BR, but dumber things have happened.
Apparently they don’t even know what it means, as evidenced by the engraved shell casings used by someone silencing dissenting political views- as actual fascists do.
re: Need Glacier National Park Help/Advice

We did this trip about 10 years ago. Whitefish is a great place to stay when visiting Glacier. The park and surrounding area is breathtaking, and I only truly
knew what that meant after going to Glacier. The sights actually took my breath away. One thing we splurged on was a helicopter tour. It was absolutely awesome. It was pricey back then, and I’m sure it’s a lot more now, but if you can swing it you won’t be disappointed!

There is an auto delete text feature. You can set it to auto delete conversations after one month or one year. It’s a storage saving feature. That being said, you have to go out of your way to use it, and someone in her position absolutely knows better. Also, even if they were ‘auto deleted’, there’s still a way to get them. Just like other criminals caught by texts.
Marta-nez? I think you mean Martin-ez.

Wow, 25 whole dollars?? So generous. Sure to make a statement.
Both of our driveways lead to a street that’s covered in snow and ice. Everyone’s driveway and street will be completely melted of ice and snow in 48 hours max. I spent the day playing with my kids, and he spent the day stressing about a non existent problem.
I suppose? Still don’t know how clearing off a driveway helps when the street it leads to is covered in snow and ice.
Couple neighbors spent a lot of time shoveling snow from their driveways today. Why?
Posted by RGeeDub on 1/21/25 at 10:22 pm
One guy must’ve been out there for hours with a shovel and salt. For what purpose? He didn’t go anywhere. Couldn’t have if he wanted to. There’s no snow plow coming to take care of the snow in the streets. Do people just think this is what you’re supposed to do when there’s snow because they’ve seen it in movies? The way I see it, this is a problem that will disappear on its own in 24-48 hours. If you were shoveling snow today, maybe you have a reason you’d like to share?
re: Which one of these snow events in Baton Rouge are the most memorable in your lifetime?
Posted by RGeeDub on 1/20/25 at 9:08 pm to Mike da Tigah
2008 snow was my last clinical day in college. Left an hour earlier than I usually did, and it snowed the whole way to the hospital. It was a blizzard. It ended up being over 6 inches where I lived. I couldn’t believe school wasn’t canceled.
2017 was my kids first snow, so that one was special. I was only able to experience it with them for a few minutes that morning before work. Unfortunately, watched it from my work window most of the day.
2021 least amount of snow, but work/school was closed the longest. Ice was the issue with this one. A few flurries. During this one, I taught my kids how to look for individual snowflakes, and to look up close. They’re actually shaped like ??. Just like when you cut them out of paper.

Hopefully ride off into the sunset never to be seen again.

Bless it.
Is this an endorsement we want?
re: I feel bad for Megyn Kelly
Posted by RGeeDub on 11/4/24 at 9:39 pm to SirWinston
I thought Megyn Kelly only spoke at one rally? Must’ve been two though, because the one I saw was much different. She was well received by the crowd. Trump was engaged, paying attention, and appreciative of what she was saying. She gave a shout out to the working men, and that also seemed to resonate. They embraced both before and after in what can only be described as a genuine display of camaraderie.

Yes, he supported Desantis in the primary. He’s supported Trump for years before that, and threw his support back at Trump when Desantis was out

Finally? He’s been embracing and supporting Trump starting when he was in his first term. I know he was a never Trumper back in the day, but he’s been a supporter for years.

Car insurance is one that isn’t talked about nearly enough. It’s out of control. Ours has increased over $100 a month. Two vehicles that are 10 years olds.
re: Kamala's campaign is changing strategy again

Weird she’s not mentioning it anymore. It’s almost like she really doesn’t believe Trump is Hitler and our democracy is at stake.
Know what your could do for the future of your black babies? Stop killing them for starters.

Ugh even her font is condescending.
Damn that was powerful. I don’t watch political ads, but I was moved to watch this one. Glad I did.
Whether it’s true or not, I hope nobody interprets this as permission to stay home on Tuesday.
If you gave a group of democratic voters some type of questionnaire that asked opinions about policy, and beliefs in a way that was matter of fact and left off all labels, the vast majority of them would reach the end to find out they’re conservative already. This is especially true for the older ones who get their news from TV as you mentioned.
re: Question For The Libertarians On Here
Posted by RGeeDub on 11/1/24 at 9:41 pm to FreezingBitches
Someone I used to consider a close friend voted for the Libertarian in 2016. Ok fine. Then, in 2020, he voted for Biden. I couldn’t wrap my brain around how he went from identifying with the libertarian party, to then voting for Biden during Covid when all the democrats were drunk on power. That’s when I realized he wasn’t voting FOR any set of policies, cultural or political views. He was only voting against Trump. He has a phd, and is a professor at a university. Smart on paper, but cannot articulate or defend his reasons for voting for Kamala. It’s just constant, “Trump bad”.
Not sure why you think the only situation this could have happened is inside my home, or hers. Without giving too much identifying information- she was in a medical facility that required she be there for several hours with.
I wasn’t going to interrupt her watching to ask her a personal question on a subject most people don’t feel comfortable talking about. She was watching, and that was enough for me.
You serious? Have you seen what happens when anyone makes an observation that could possibly be interpreted as a criticism of Trump?
Lack of pro Kamala threads on tiger droppings is a terrible way to gauge support for her. Take a trip to politics thread on Reddit, and you’ll see real quick the insanity, delusion, and enthusiasm, are alive and well. You’ll find about as many pro Trump threads there as there are pro Kamala threads here.
BUT, if we’re talking about tones of joy and enthusiasm vs those of panic and desperation- Team Trump has the former, while Kamala’s quacks are closing with the latter.

I saw a black woman watching the Rogan/Vance interview.

She was probably in her mid to late fifties. Statistically, this is someone that’s voting for Kamala. Is she on the Trump train? Or, is she a democrat voter willing to listen to a real conversation from another perspective? Either way, it was refreshing, and nice to see.

It was clear a long time ago who he endorses. Shut up and dribble.

Some democrat in PA —
”I worked my arse off filling out 20,000 ballots. I turned around and they’re gone! Somebody stole them, and now I won’t get paid! I’m suing!”
