good luck with these plays. curious to know your price targets for these to hit and in what timeframes. I suspect you're going to get wrecked trying to short bullish indexes/stocks. there's too many dip buyers waiting on those names and you're going to face a lot of frustration as dips are bought and price trades sideways before a next leg up. volatility is suppressed and even if there is a spike in vol, it's quickly crushed as buying comes in. prime example: the trading days on Thursday and Friday.
maybe focus on actual bearish stocks if you want to go short in this market.
Nasdaq down 360.
Sounds like his shorts worked out great

The old saying that "you can indict a ham sandwich" is an old saying for a reason.

Regarding Trump indictments, Ben Stein said the following.
This is not America anymore.
This is an occupied country.
I woke up with a distinct feeling that I was in Paris in 1940 when it was occupied by the Nazis.

A woman filing for divorce and expecting alimony for life is akin to quitting your job and expecting the employer to pay you for life.

In California if you divorce after only 10 years you are subject to alimony for life.
A California attorney said that it's common for women to file for divorce immediately after the 10 year anniversary, to get the alimony for life.
The attorney said that there are cases where the husband filed for divorce at say 9 or 9.5 years where the courts still granted lifetime alimony siting that the husband filed before the 10 year mark just so he could avoid the life long alimony.
Unbelievable

I read that some states require the ex-husband to get alimony insurance to assure the ex-wife can keep getting alimony after he dies.

If her alimony ends she says she will have to go on government assistance.
Always looking for someone else to pay their bills.

Did he grow up in the early 20th century with that nutrition and medicine and training? Another rhingbthat has drastically improved since even 100 years is air quality. Most people I don’t think appreciate how much things like air quality have improved. You still had factories in cities then and no air filters or anything and people smoked literally everywhere and again people like Owens necessarily didn’t train year round like they do now
Exactly, it's amazing that so many people are clueless.
Even in the 1970s Bruce Jenner worked a normal job and trained by himself at a local high school after work.
Athletes today are professionals with dieticians, trainers, modern equipment etc.
Give those same perks to athletes of the past an IF todays athletes are better, it's miniscule.

Edwin Moses 122 win streak (including 107 finals) in the 400m hurdles.
Makes it more impressive because it's hurdles.
To think that not only was he faster than everyone for 122 races, but that there wasn't 1 race where he clipped a hurdle, mistimed, stumbled etc is amazing.

1-4 against a bunch of Mormons ?
I know that they've had some quality QB's and some decent teams, but 1-4 ?

Two weeks is the norm where I live.
I was surprised the first time a realtor told me that in many parts of the country that it's occupancy at closing.
I thought "what if something goes wrong at the closing and you've already moved out" ?
But I can see the inverse.
People saying "once I own the house I don't want people living in it and possibly damaging the house".
