Bethune Cookman got guys straight out of the Caribbean......
It would be either Simpson, Reaves, or Ruckert although I'm not sure if Ruckert made the travel roster. He might have been added now with Caraway out.

I'd like to see Simpson get a chance. His opportunities slipped without him doing terrible. He just didn't move the needle

IF Simpson is available
Leadership is everyone's excuse when we lose because they can't comprehend actual baseball skills.

Everyone screamed it about this team last year when they would drop a series but now we're missing Jones' leadership? Give me one example of his so called extraordinary leadership lol

Serna might be fine for emergency duty but they’re still being precautious and want ham in to get opportunity

Yea I think Cowan behind Fontenot is a really goood way to keep the opposition off balance. I think Sunday truly remains a tbd and just see who you have left to go win it. If you need Cowan Fontenot Guidry etc on fri/sat then you don’t hesitate

Perks of playing at Georgia and Tenner is it will boost the HR numbers at worst

Death Valley is not getting a purple turf field

I think you’ll see him get more opportunity with Plog continue ing to struggle. Need a situational lefty

Same could be said for Benge. He pitched great but won’t get as much recognition because of the dropped fly ball that lead to 3 runs
I don’t keep up with bball too much but Mo Alie-Cox? The colts TE?

ETA I had no idea he was signed in the NFL without ever playing a down of college ball. That’s insane. Wade does like some athletes I guess lol
I'd imagine he sees the bigs soon. The A's don't have enough pitching this season to keep him down long
Let's pretend this is true. Who would the other 2 be? I can't think of anyone else getting at bats that didn't see the field in some capacity. Simpson even got a start this weekend who hadn't in a while. Ruckert maybe?
I'll take the over. Curiel and Milam are due for an uptick of balls going out. Yorke will continue to hit them on the mid weeks. Dardar, Pearson, and Serna should put a few more out. Braun will add a couple more and if Arrambide ever gets back right he should help push it over the top

I hadn’t heard that take on Yorke yet, but I agree. Everything is a pop up when he makes contact because it feels like he’s trying to lift the ball. That’s rattled him and now he can’t get the bat off his shoulder. Maybe sitting yesterday will loosen him up
I’m in the same boat.

My head jumps to Noot and Cowan, who both have had ups and downs. But if throwing Schmidt and Moore with Evans coming in for one or both gets you to 2-0, then you take that scenario and hope someone else can piece it together on Sunday
Patrick seems to be Jay's designated PR. I doubt he does much other than that.

Harden might see more time at DH if the lack of hitting continues, but he's looked pretty rough at the plate other than the one HR

I think Ruckert has a true shot to finish the season as the 2B if Dardar or Simpson don't start hitting. He'll for sure be the defensive replacement there all season

Position is yours for the taking Pearson. Seize the opportunity
I think Brown is playing his way into the first round but scouts see Christian Yelich 2.0 in curiel. His contact and defense will get him to the majors and he’ll have a season or 2 with lower HR numbers, but he’ll develop more strength and refine that swing for more pop through that time to become a 30 HR guy. He plays a premium position also

To the dumbass that said why isn’t he physically that strong now, only juice can make you grow and gain that much in 1-2 years
While Costello would be nice, I think Ryan would benefit you more from positions of need. The defense would see an instant boost with him at 3rd or 2nd.

Have you looked into transfer pitchers at all? The hard throwing righty that went to Texas comes to mind, but not any others

Obviously fine with Cam Johnson not being here regardless of how he started the season

Funny how some were saying he was best pitcher on the team not long ago

Most on this board just eject anything from more than 3 games ago from their brains
They were okay. Some things they’d gloss over like the fact the their starter gave up 7 runs. To them “he got them to where they are at, in this game”.

The Vandyboys thing is extremely gay though and they said it a lot.

One of them referred to himself as an “arm” because he pitched at Vandy I think, and that’s the first time I’ve ever heard a pitcher do that before

BUT I thought they called a fair game. They obviously know more about Vandy but complimented LSU when it was time and even went against the umps when they made obvious bad calls against LSU
